R U an RV Mutant too?
Well lookie here, ev-one. The kids, Andrea and Jay have paid a visit. Woot!
We are in KC area for a wedding this weekend, then heading West, maybe CO Springs.
Heat? Yep, we learned about doors, windows, vents and such too. Our middle A/C is kaput until we settle somewhere, but 2 of them do pretty darn good!
Thanks fer checkin in, you young pups! Got any nifty stories to tell? 😉
Howdy and a hug to sweet Andrea!👍

If you're following along - Rockport looks to be our hang out from 11/14 to 12/1 ...
After that Pharr for the winter... 5 miles down the road from Don and Sandee...
And yes - the feelings mutual. Miss hearing from our mutant youth division.

Ok here's my BIG story! (see photo)
Ok, one more.
we are sleeping in Tuscaloosa AL walmart, everything is fine. We get up at 6am (me) 7am (andrea)... close the single bedroom slide, crank and go.... INSTANTLY STOP ENGINE LIGHT... whooa that's not good... I'm on the interstate, I need fuel, it's one exit up... the light goes out, COMES BACK ON, goes out, COMES BACK ON... hit the truck lane, shut the engine off, get fuel, call Fleetwood...... check coolant GOOD, check air GOOD, check something else GOOD.... they give us two numbers to call locally.... we go by the first cat shop (by the way, no more STOP ENGINE LIGHT after restart).. the first shops says "caaaan't help ya" - off to the second cat shop..... opps that was our exit.. overshot by 9 miles for a u-turn. Second shop has us detach car and back in a bay. Computer says exhaust overtemp - but no reason....
they scratch their heads and send us on our way (at no charge) 2 hours later.....
Then Jay needs a camping world fix to buy a new ran mcnally GPS that he doesn't need (+ toilet paper)...
Then we hit knoxville at 5pm drive time (whoops)
Only to be met with a standstill! (and i mean standstill) traffic accident on I-40 1 mile from our exit...
to only go to walmart to buy fishing lic (for the fish we DIDN'T catch today) where the walmart employee screwed up both of them and had to void and redo at the cost of another 45 minutes... so that...
I now had to head down 17 miles of back road, two lane, twisty turny, 25mph, narrrrrrrrrow lanes to smokey bear camprground.. in the dark.. and one headlight went out..........
What was supposed to be 5.5 hours of driving ... turned into 10 hours of hmmmmm, stress
So we arrived in the dark, walked the dogs in the dark, left this morning for a 45 minute drive to meet a fishing guide before the sun came up to catch zero fish.. WHEW!
That's a fun story. My mom laughed her head off at me over this story!

within what state is rockport located. I'm too lazy to google it, plus I'm about to eat these awesome turkey tacos, and then fall asleep from exhaustion.

A couple years ago I went to Lowes and got some of that space foil in a roll (insulation kind) Cut it to fit each of the windows in the MH. Put it in and almost immediately the temp dropped 10 degrees. Well it felt like it.
