Here we are, Sue and I, at the harbour front in Dubrovnik, sitting at the very same spot where, 52 years ago I had my first iced coffee, having lunch and, yes, iced coffeeClick image for larger version

R U an RV Mutant too?

RVM 36 checking in from Dubrovnik, Croatia, in a harbor-side restaurant for lunch. Seafood is fresh and plentiful here ... and so are the tourists! (Plentiful, that is. Dunno about fresh.) Three cruise boats are in today and the place is heaving.

I'll try another pic, but the last ones arrived as broken links. I am a bit discouraged. Click image for larger version

We'll be in Corfu tomorrow and then 2 days at sea to Gibraltar.

Cheers all, and ommmms where appropriate. Don and Sandee I know about, and am so sorry. It's a tough time. I'll check in again when I can.

Sending Tuesday, whatever date this is ... I think it's this is 9/9.

Missin' y'all, but the rainbow is just as bright on the Adriatic as in America. Cheers!

Sue

They also say it should be out in front so there is no interference and you can be sure it is properly connected. I pretty much agree.

I solved my biggest problem by taking the "flag" off and my secondary problem by ordering two more of the "pins" as backups. Can keep one in the car and one in the tool box.

The ring really doesn't need this plastic tag flapping from it...
I'm wondering if there are different manufacturer's for that little device. The two I have had in the past swiveled and were designed that way. When I disconnected I just turned it to the side to hide it out of the way. Hmm! Presently on the Lincoln they tucked it behind the grill. It was difficult to get to the pull cable so I put a small carabiner on it making it more accessible. The pull cable from the MH is coil wound and just snaps back out of the way when not in use.

Push comes to shove, remove the screw and put a 1/4x20 (or whatever size) bolt with double nut on it and you won't have to worry about wallowing out.

I need to meet that person and explain the dangers he put me in.

You better spell her name right, or she's gonna smack you one.

She was funnin' with me. She reads everything on this thread. That's the problem with having an open forum.
