Going to Petrified Forest and Painted Desert over the next 2 days, maybe more. Being flexible, as in relaxed/lazy. All part of the Journey, Y'all.
Too many posts for me, ya know?
Blessings to all.
Ohmmss and prayers where needed.
And why dont we all meet in Down East Maine in mid August 2016? Lobstah. Bluberries. Mutations.
????
Sign us up for 2016...

And very soon - I will be calling the mutant non-planning committee together to nail down the Second Annual GC.

Hold tight. I can only juggle 4 balls - a chainsaw - 3 plates and a bowling ball @ a time.

Ken,
Don't know about the Q. Don't think we'll try any but might go for a steak. We have Texas Q and there isn't any other match for it. We have a Q place just down the street from us that is outstanding. We have a couple Mexican Restaurants that also do an excellent job.. Then there is all you can eat catfish that Herb can attest to. Stuffed jalapenos in Texas are stuffed with shrimp and cheese and ar as big and long as two thumbs.

Barb and I can attest to theCatfish that Wayne is referring to. It is quite possibly the best we have ever had. Just don't let Wayne drive cause he has an attraction to the curb on the corner.

Thanks Wayne and Herb and Barb on the attestation to the catfish. I do know TX has some great Q too....always told up here in the frozen tundra that KC had the "best" Q ribs...Had some there...they were good. Have to do a comparison on the ol' taste buds to see what me thinks.

Steve....frost warnings here in the Twin Cities area tonight....count yourself lucky if your'n in the 60's.

I have. Some of my musician friends play there on the weekends. Annie hasn't been but I have a couple of times. Hard Eight is Hard to be beat for Q in DFW.

My BIL went to the new Ten 50 in Richardson - similar to Hard Eight but not quite as good...

This is net pic of Hard Eight - doesn't do it justice.

Yep we have one right here in Roanoke so it's a staple in our diet. Absolutely my favorite.
