On a whim we decided to stay the night at their "home" CG, and coincidentally the space next to them was available. Well whaddya know?! And dinner time, too. (Good thing, or we'd have had to open our last can of SPAM!)

It gets better: tomorrow morning we'll all be at the Original Pancake House, snarfing down bacon and other assorted goodies. Mmmm-hmmmm!

We'll get a good look at their beautiful new flooring, the guys will undoubtedly talk technicals, and we will sympathize (knowingly) about their slide problems. (Wouldn't wish all that on anyone!)

I sure hope they can make it to Rockport. Come to think about it, I hope WE can make it, too! The more time we spend with folks like Don and Sandee, the better we enjoy their company. Mutants and their mates are the best!

Cheers!

You folks are having waaaayyyy too much fun.
Good! 😄

I'm glad you mentioned that - I have 115 in front & 85 in rears - and there is no amount of allowable weight that I can put on the rear axel that will change that.

I would have to see this to believe it. I guess my little Bounder just can't produce the hot air... My air releases well below 150 psi and to pump 110 to 115 into a tire with my engine air is burning daylight...
I know - others do it you way Wayne - even Tim apparently. Maybe everyone one. Heck even the 150 psi compressor cuts out a bit on the fronts. I had checked air last year and a piece of grit held the stem in - next day tire empty. I'd still be there if I'd relied on the on board compressor...

With a rig like that ferry crossings would be easy! No mud puddle too deep!

Steve did you have Bonita weighed? 115psi sounds stiff, I run 112psi and that's a little higher than what they had it set at, but the stiffer the tire the less flex and heat build up while driving. Just wondering. Is your TPS a flow through?

Dwayne for that price they better include a trolling motor on the front bumper and a boat seat mounted on the hood!
