I was told by an impeccable source that Jne's roadkill contribution of gator was roadkill. She and her accomplice dangled a dead chicken on the road and when a gator came to get it..... You get the idea.

WE won't be rolling in until Saturday the 15th though... and leaving probably thursday or Friday... Shorter is better for Bob... and I am taking it slow with him... the Yellowstone trip we took was almost more than he could tolerate of " the box" .... Poor Honey... you know he's been in there too long when she gets that designation!

I think I saw you were a responsible and responsive mutant on the other site - and replied that you couldn't make it halfway around the globe... for a Midi-C... :-(

Yer catching on Larry... And what's worse about w#%* is that it convinces you rving is something to do on weekends and no more than a couple weeks vacation a year.
We won't be full timers for a little more than a month yet - and there are still 14 more werk days.... but I am always perplexed by the statement - full timing is not vacation.
I know that when someone says that, they are referring to the hurry from here to there and do and see everything there is mentality of a "vacation"... But - we never really did that; at least not when "camping" was involved. So many of my / our vacations were in the B van and down time, campfires, grilling, and some fishing and boondocking and hanging out occupied the majority of our time. A little site seeing in between... mostly just living.
When we would do the other kind of vacation - fly to Vegas or Disney or wherever - and rent a car and stay in hotels is when things got rushed and hurried and nutz. Full timing is defenitly not that - and it's not the two week rv trip - but it will be very much like our rving vacations. If it wasn't going to be like that, why would we do it. We're not throwing one way of living overboard for an unknown quantity. That would be crazy.
But you're right. You caught us. We have found a way to make it fun Larry - LOL - there is an unlimited number of First Ever - Son of First Ever - SSCCMs (Statistically Significant Curiosity Causal Mechanisms) or at least plenty to go around the RVMDOM and power the Rainbow for eternity... grab the brass ring brother as soon as ya can... don't worry that your reach exceeds your grasp. Lean into it and swing for the fences...

So.... setting an agenda isn't a big priority for Wayne and I... we have his smoothie recipe - my Vitamix for frozen Margaritas... and we have grills - cook stoves - a smoker - restaurants - bars - a fishing trip with a gulf Coast guide.... that we can pick and choose from.
To answer your question more directly - yes the itinerary is as follows...
NOV 14 - 21

Hopefully we will be in the area about 10 days prior... Possibly at Corpus or even as far south as S Padre.....
Is what we are wanting to do anyway....

The KOA on S Padre looks nice - but I didn't want to commit to sitting winter out right on the gulf. Looks like it could be a nice place for Larry to get back to his roots... I have looked at a couple of the restaurants in Rockport - Fulton and it looks like we can get some nice dining with views up there too.
I'm really looking forward to this!
