Thanks for the warm welcome. We shall endeavor to make our fellow RVMs proud (or at least not to embarrass them too awfully much).

Thanks, 87. I was sweating bullets over that exam (thought I was back in college or, even worse, high school) 'cause I forgot and washed the crib notes off my palm.

My test results came back negative. I'm not pregnant!

I'm Bev; Art is the blue-eyed Canadian I share elbow room with; Heidi and Ginger are those old cats.

Thanks....RVM94

Mom's at home (my sister there to take care) but won't know anything from the biopsy test results until Friday. I'll let you know when I find out something then. (Thanks for asking, Herb.)

I took Kate for her cataract surgery early this afternoon. I ran to see the ortho surgeon while she was in the OR. He is not going to pull out the wire from around my knee. He wrote new orders for my physical therapist. Less electrical stimulation via 3 different modalities and more strength building for my quads. Then back to Kate's side. Drove her home around 5:30.

What a day. We ordered out ... Italian from Orlando's (for them that know Lubbock restaurants). Green chili chicken linguini. Makes it all better.

We were fulltimers for a long time in three different towables before medical issues required hanging up the keys. After 5 years, those problems are pretty much behind us so it's time to get back on the road. Hence the older MH named Waylon whose toad is named (what else?) Willy.

What we have is a great marriage (a requirement for being cooped up together so much in a tin box); a passion for RVing; no extra money and no bills to pay; two old she-cats who were raised in a 5W and 2 TTs.

What do we need? Six new tires, but we expect to have those in the spring; the sound of the ocean outside our bedroom window; cool breezes in the summer on the Oregon coast instead of 105 with 98% humidity like we have in Houston. That about covers it.

Thanks! Y'all be safe.
Are ya kiddin' me???!!! You two are PERFECT for this group! You sound as sick and twisted as the rest of us ... well, except for Dave. He's kinda in a "class" by himself. After all, he is numero uno. So, he sets the bar for STMs. I strive to be as weird as he is -- sick, twisted, mutated son of a hippie or something.

Welcome to the community! It's as diverse as any you'll find anywhere, and a great bunch of folks, truly.

And to my buds (and you know who you are), we just MIGHT be able to make it to CL in April. Now don't count your chickies before they hatch, but it might be that I can save up enough PTO to take two days off then. We shall see. This all depends on my staying healthy and not breaking something else (aka, knee cap), tearing something else (aka, rotator cuff) stretching something else (aka, Achilles), or catching something such as flu, mumps, or ebola.

If I don't take any sick days off between now and CL, I might have enough to take off all our mandatory holidays, 4 days at Christmas to be with our kids and a couple of days in April. Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmm

At any rate, welcome Bev, Art and those old girls! Look forward to meeting you one of these days! And, do tell, Bev, where do you recommend camping on the Oregon coast? That's on our must-see list, but I have no idea where to park for a couple of weeks out there.

Have guitar, will travel. Dave, you up for a duet? Maybe a little Crosby, Stills, & Nash? Creedence Clearwater? No??? Ok, you win: some Aretha .... (Steve, it'll cost you another $10 .... just sayin'.)
