Dang.

It just doesn't pay to fall asleep early with this bunch of STMs. I woke up to 4 pages to read and a new mutant couple.

Welcome to the fold Bev and Art, the kitties, too I sent you a PM about joining the email list and RVillage groups. You're gonna love it here, but hang on the road gets bumpy occasionally AND the post count is like a runaway stallion at times.

News Flash - it doesn't pay to stay up all night either... I may miss those pay checks - but that's about it. Now if we can just find a way to make this thread pay us...

Actually it was "Pogo" from the the Walt Kelly cartoon strips.

Being a political junkie Walt's ability to nail politicians without them knowing was classic.

Today - in about an hour - I will be running a power point presentation for a group of folks at work. They asked that I pull something together and share my retirement plans with them. It's a live meeting and conference call - cause I didn't want to fly to Philly or DC to do it... they were fine with that...

So mutants - if yer ears are burning - you'll know why.

And for those in the WPP (Witness Protection Program), be ready for some new scenery!

Maybe a bit of recruiting? Or do they need final confirmation that you ARE an STM?

Hi, Wayne. Thanks for the welcome. As I was telling Barb earlier, the folks in this group have gone out of their way to make us feel like we belong. We appreciate that. It's usually just a canned greeting from the moderator and that's about all.

We're not in Livingston, actually. We're in a Houston suburb (Humble). I was born and raised in this area. When we get into the rig on January 1 we'll go back to the Livingston address for SKPs. We get up there from time to time but mostly it's a mail drop. Anyway....we'd love to touch base with you at some point before we hit the road again on May 17. We head to Galveston occasionally for the day (NEVER in summer - too crowded and hot), so maybe we could meet up for lunch on the way through TC. We'll work on that next time we get down there.
