I'd say Wayne. He still handles the entire security system for NORAD.

Marty - before I wonder and worry - nothing has been scammed yet? That's my main concern. Nigerian Prince is usually a good clue...

Every morning you
have two choices:
sleep with your dreams
or wake up and chase them

no... this involves pet sitting for a couple from Austrailia supposedly... wanting to pay me 250.00 a week for 6 hours work.... and sending me a check or something to deposit and withdraw my first paycheck from and putting the rest on a green dot moneypak card. I am to run errands for her also besides dog walking. Check or money order or something is supposed to arrive by USPS with a tracking number Monday. Instucted to then send the card number to her so she can then forward the numbers to her agent.
My first red flag was they are importing a dog from Australia, and she didn't respond to my question about how long the dog would need to be quarantined. ( i believe it is a month) then the funky instructions about the money card and all... smells fishy, and not the kind I like to consume. If I deposit the cheque or whatever, and take my first pay out, they will have my banking info, right?
I figure the card would be theirs they would fill for expenses and pay me on... I dunno....

my other first clue was I got a text from someone I didn't know claiming they saw my profile on Care.com... but my phone number isn't on that... I email people regarding the jobs... current clients have given my phone numbers to others as a referral but it's local folks giving to local folks....

That has all the markings of something to run from to me - but mostly because it involves work... kidding - sounds fishy all the way around to me too.
I had the opportunity in business to observe many types of transactions. This starts out in the category - An offer I couldn't understand. Always a bad start.
