Di - I understand the desire for the rain to clear - but for those who grow up near gulf and ocean waters - a little rain and fog at night - maybe hot tottie or coco... it's not an unpleasant scene...

How far down south are you...

Don and Sandee,

It sounds like you've got a good plan for Gunny and I hope his mobility improves quickly.

Does this mean we'll be seeing you in Rockport? I'm sure ready for some mutant partying and hanging out. I stopped by Drifter's today to pick up some mail I had sent there. While it's not quite up to the GC@CL standards, it looks like a nice place to mutate for a while.

Steve, Sorry to hear about Annie. Hope she is feeling better soon. Just and FYI we wont' be at Rockport after all. The move has done us in as you both so well know so we will be staying at home until January when we will leave for Fredericksberg, TX for a month or so and then weather permitting on to the east coast with a stop off in Hot Springs in April. Will be hope for about a month and then back to Colorado for the summer. Hope all has a wonderful time in Rockport.

We may arrive a day late but we will see. It depends on our stop in Montgomery, TX and when we can spend some time with my niece and her family.

Hey Possum! Weren't you involved with some sort of political shenanigans (maybe not the best choice of words, but you know what I mean) recently? Dare I ask how that went for you? All in the interest of brotherly and mutantatious caring, doncha know?

I thought I recognized your face from them wanted posters plastered up all over town. That you?

I know right where you are! As a kid my dad took my friends and I to Port Isabel surfing many times. Which is why when we decided to winter in RGV I looked at both. I had decided on the KOA as it was on the lee / bay side and thought it might make a better long term - winter place. As it is - I let Don talk me out of letting Bonita sit in the salt air for 3 or 4 months.

That said - while the place is pretty build up - even was years ago - it was and remains quite nice down there. I hope the weather clears for you.

It's funny - the pic you posted says League City at the top - the town I grew up in was sandwiched between there and Waynes tree house.

Sue - I talked to him the other day and asked the same thing. I believe elections in his neck of the woods are on the 15th. He may be stumping right now. Lol. I would really like to see his yard signs - Vote for Me - A Possum in Every Pot...
