I tried to do that, but you can't change your email until after you ADD and verify a new email address by responding to the email they send you.
They started sending me texts anytime any of my friends posted anything. I was able to stop them by replying STOP to one of the emails. That cost me $

Seems like your FB has gotten really intrusive. I have mine setup with almost everything private and do not get much notification at all, yet.

Glad to see you are having a great time Dave! We will be heading that way on the 9th.
Being you mentioned shrimp tacos, it reminds me of a story.
Two years ago we were down there and met up with some friends, and went to Los Algodones for the day. The one Lady decided to treat us all to lunch and ordered a bunch of Shrimp Tacos. I hate shrimp, always have, but I choked two of the buggers down just to be polite. It almost makes me heave thinking about it. Marcie still laughs about it and said you really didn't have to do that. I won't again!!

I made the mistake of entering the info when I first signed up. I thought I might be found by some old friends. It seems to be impossible to remove any info once they have it. Any wonder why I HATE them?

I NEVER get any notifications from facebook... Have everything turned off as to notifications, etc....
I enjoy it, but on my terms..... And i never post my traveling plans... Have trouble keeping my 83 yo mother from devulging my whereabouts.... She loves being able to be into everones business... So if you are on fb, and my mother adds you.... I suggest you ignore it.... Smile....

Just make a new email aka Yahoo etc. Do the verify thing, then ignor it forever. They don't have my phone number so they can't txt me. They can't call or email me (except a false email)
