Of course the awning motor they ordered is wrong. And the malfunctioning toilet needs parts to be ordered and it's too late for next-day delivery. They tried to find the worrisome sound out below the steering wheel, and it seems possible they tried cornering to locate it.

In the process the fridge and freezer doors (tied shut) opened just enough to let something fall off the shelf and wedge them open. Melted ice cream, thawed cakes, and who knows what all else.

Sigh. But it's all good. We'll get to CL yet...you've been warned!

Cheers!
Sounds like the roads in Forida are just as bad as the rest of the Nation.

Stay safe, that's the important thing. Material things can be replaced.

We leave Monday, stopping in Carthage, TX. Join up with us for the Texas Ride-in.
Well, we will be washing the RV, sanitizing the fresh water tank, flushing the water heater, etc. All those "after being in storage 3 months" things. Also, we don't leave much of anything in the RV while it's in storage, so it takes a while to get it loaded. It will be nice to have the luxury of "plenty of time--no rush."

We are probably leaving Wednesday morning and driving straight to CL; we have made that trip many times.

No, it got us for a bit.

A bunch of us from w__k meet up for drinks every Wednesday after work. They keep pumping me about Bow 'cause they've never seen her. Only pictures. So, I went out to the storage unit after w__k and got her. Drove her to the restaurant (they have a giant parking lot) and my peeps poured out of Chuy's when they saw Bow & I pull onto the lot.

Gave 'em the grand tour and they all said, "Ok. This is a party bus, right? When are you taking us to Austin? or a casino anywhere?" They oohed and ahhed appropriately and then I kicked 'em all out because the wind was getting wound UP and the dirt was blowing like a sandblaster. Bow was rockin' like Elvis! It didn't last very long, but I drove her back to storage doing only about 40-50 mph. Got her tucked away in her bed with no incidents. And the weather's clear as a bell now.

Btw, I'm taking the gang from work to Palo Duro Canyon this summer to see the outdoor musical. We'll go up on a Saturday afternoon, see the sites in the canyon, enjoy the bar-b-que before the show, and drive home afterward. Will be a late night, but you only go 'round once, right?

Kate's gonna love you, Sue. Anyone who can put on a happy face with all that chaos going on in your coach, well, you're Kate's kinda friend. Same for me. You're a ROLE MODEL, girl!

Y'all just gotta make it to CL! There will be a couple of sand-blasted West Texas mutants highly disappointed if you don't make it. So, we'll just assume you'll be there.

Mel

Mel

What a party, Mel! Whooee! And ya kicked up a whole lotta wind to go with it too.

'Tis the season for wind, I know. Sand out West, dust in the Midwest; storms and torna--@#s ever whichaway. It's been heavy over our place today. A friend said the hail was so heavy it looked like it had snowed.

Not time to go home yet! Time to play in AR instead. Yeehaw!

PS: Yer makin me blush!

Four issues to solve with Gracie.
1) Mind boggling complete loss of power from fully charged batteries to nothing in mere seconds.
2) Tiny hole in the water supply somewhere under the kitchen sink. It actually sprays a thin thin high pressure jet of water into the recesses of the cabinets. Water has to be left off until needed and then turned off immediately afterward.
3) Solar panels have no power indication showing at the controller.
4) Back up camera showing nothing but rolling picture when in operation.
Damn and its only a 20 year old unit.

Did anyone hear the winning 649 lottery numbers for tonight?

The lottery payout office is on the way to the Peace Arch border crossing and only a few days away from a GC redux.
