I will use the magnet method. Dip a magnet in a cup of oil and see how many ball bearings are picked up.

Me. I'm pretty much finished with w**k of most sorts... for the time being anyway. Next change can we drive to your place and watch you do ours?

I just happen to have a full pint of 3-in-One oil for your next oil change.

While on the thought of oil, and to enlighten everyone's day; here is a good article from Scientific American.

Texas here we come....

Happy days! You're safely landed and almost home, right? Sounds as if it's been a great trip.

Somewhere I have a picture of the Roswell Walmart with its tall green alien on the front. They do go all out, don't they?

To top that they installed a large fountain in the middle of it which hit unsuspecting approaching drivers like a rain storm resulting in many fender benders. At night the fountain was lit up which made the whole thing a debacle. I don't know if it's still there.

The roundabout is still there..happily, fountain gone about two years ago

I still like roundabouts. I took driving lessons when I first moved to Wiltshire and mastering them was the most exciting achievement. Learning the different road markings was a bit challenging, and handling the wheel as the instructor wanted me to (like an old lady!) made me crazy.

Where is Alconbury?
