Kate is watching Texas A&M and Louisville play in some obscure Bowl. She could care less about those schools. She just loves watching the game. She is such a guy. (wink)

It's been fun to catch up on the forum. Marty and Bob, you have terrific kids! LOVE, LOVE that they named their little one Peace. That says a lot about them. I believe little Peace really hit the jackpot in the parents department! And in the grandparent dept, too. She is most certainly a tiny Mutant. (Does that sound like I'm on pain meds??? ... Do not answer that Wayne or Dennis.)

Elizabeth and Mary, you know the ohmmmmm meter is off the dial for Ellie. Thanks for keeping us up to date. She is precious!

This ortho surgery has another plus side (besides the obvious) ... I've lost 18 lbs since the first surgery and the PA says I will lose more over the next 4 months. Yay! But, I have to be diligent about maintaining proper nutrition. Thank the Rainbow for protein drinks. Now to keep it off long-term ....

After walking and riding all over SA Riverwalk, we enjoyed a grande mexican meal, but no pics.. They are all on my camera....

So glad this one was routine.....

Diane, I look at your darling Westies and start thinking .......

The "I want a puppy!" thing is getting pretty strong. But Kate wants to wait for another year. Sigh.

Better exercise than riding a bike... Chasing after these two...
They make us laugh many times a day.... Here is the pic prior to the one i posted....
They really are such different personalities... LitaBit is a Larry, QTπ is a Di...... And having 2 is much easier than having one......
I have had poodle, labs, bassetts, boxer, beagles.... And i am definitely a westie kinda gal.....

So Dave and I talked about the optional "theme" for Tucson.

After pondering in a way that only mutants can... we agreed that "story book" was easy and fun. Pick any character from a story book, comic book, etc and be the character... it's optional but should be fun.

And then Annie had a ponder of her own. We can bring coloring books, story books, etc. Colleen and Earlene have agreed to take them to a children's hospital or centers back home and spread the cheer.

Now is the time to head to the local stores and hit the sales for the bargins. Again - optional but a good cause and something we can do to pass along good mutant cheer and put smiles on some kids faces.
Sound good???

Martin is all lukewarm at best about sushi and sashimi , but tonight he described his first Japanese meal, which was in Sao Paolo years ago. The appetizers were pieces of raw tuna served with "lots of lovely sauces". He hadn't realized until today that that was sashimi.

Let's rerun that Japanese restaurant suggestion, shall we? I'm in, and Martin might be, too!

I'm looking forward to meeting Curtis too, since he's come over to the rainbow side. 😘
