It takes you 14 tries to get that scene right? Could be you have real whiskey in that glass pahtner? You know that you're supposed to using that bottle of prop whiskey, aka apple juice, don't ya?

Yes, it was much fun...regular life pales to the fun on the road with it's marvelous curiosities!

Truth? Was beer, and really cookin bacon and watching Laramie.
And thought that a reminder of the RVM novel wouldn't hurt

It's been 2 years and it's still the best decision ever.

Wrong old fox. There was one decision you made that negates your 'best decision ever' comment.
Hi Annie.

[QUOTE=bokobird;3326036]It's a Fisher & Paykel, model RF170ADUSX4. Expensive but the size will save me on labor costs!!! I believe it's just a couple inches taller and slightly narrower. Once the Norcold is out and more measurements can be taken on the cavity for the fridge itself, I'll know whether any mods are required or not.
Let us know how that all goes.........we might be next and I have heard great things about Fisher & Paykel products.

We traveled 380+ miles and barely got out of Texas. Colleen and Hunter drove west +/- that many miles and didn't get out of Texas either.. Geesh, a big state but less than 1/2 of the size of Alaska.
We are nestled in the boondock lot at Isles of Capri at exit 27 on I10. Will be going into the casino fairly soon to pay our fair share for the honor of paying nothing for the overnight.
Once again Colleen, great job on the mutant gathering.. Thanx also to Di who worked on some things too.
See y'all in the future.

The Norcold is out and the F&P is in the RV, all through the door!!! By taking the doors off both, removing the screen door, I had around 25 inches of clearance (maybe a little less) AND removing the passenger seat and its' pedestal for better clearance. The Norcold was a bit of a struggle to get out because it was heavier and that dang cooling unit in the back was a hassle for clearance, but out it went. The F&P was much easier to get in as it was lighter so easier to deal with.
Now the tough part starts - need to get the F&P into the cavity where the Norcold was, it's only a height issue so we just haven't figured out the best approach yet. The second challenge is securing the F&P so it doesn't go flopping around (or out) while driving. Will keep you posted, plus I'll likely do a separate post on the whole process w/pics once it's done.
