Hi, Di! Thanks for clarification. I did feel a bit muddled!
We've landed at a Pilot near Sikeston MO. (Still cold, but we now have double rather than single digit temps & very little visible snow.)
Tomorrow, we expect to be boondocking with a couple at Lonoke, not far off I-40. We should be there fairly early, if all goes to plan, 4-5ish, maybe.
Has your snow all gone yet?
I have your phone nos. U have ours?

He is, but he's a wimp. After 6 summers she can now be in the house with him asleep on the floor and not freak out. Miracles can happen. But DD has promised next dog will be smaller and NOT black. Sancho is 13, almost deaf and losing vision.

Kenicki = Ken and Nicki and their adorable GD Haley, friends of Paul and Chris. They were installed today after lunch and officially took the Mutant oath and were awarded their Mutant mascots along with Gary and Marian (adamfolger)
Gary and Marian got a call this afternoon that their son got the leave he requested so they broke camp and headed to Phoenix to play with their Grands for 2 weeks.
Since adult beverages were enjoyed at lunch and around the fire later it may be tomorrow before anyone is heard from. I'm the tea tottler which explains my clarity of thought. Sena, however did imbibe which explains how quiet it is here.

So Sue -- remind me where you are planning to stay between now and the Tucson GC? I'm bummed that you left your yak home alone and freezing. Paul and Chris both have one but there is ZERO water near here. We will get them wet in Tucson!

Wonderful! Welcome Ken & Nicki, & apologies for my befuddlement earlier. (Nothing unusual there!) Now where the heck did that beoom & dustpan get to? It's your turn for cleanup duty (which of course will have been explained to you in full. 😉
Thanks, Barb, for the update.
Cheers!

Chez Wayne & Earlene for a bit, then mostly Yuma. Riverside, if we can get a space. (Sweet owner, but she always says to call her back in Jan. or Feb. It seems a bit dicey to me!)
Martin suggests renting a yak. He really didn't want to haul mine along anyway. Not his thing. I'm bummed too! Aside from the benefits of companionship, yakking gets rid of my back pain for the winter.
It is what it is, and all the rest of it. (Thanks, Wayne!) Still, looking forward to seeing you!

Sue... maybe you can find a place that buys and sells used yaks... and ask em what they'll give you for it a couple months (or less)...
Or check the ads under used yaks for sale... I wish I had that pic of you yaking it up in the Himalayas.
