I was on the phone with the PCU nurse and flowers are OK in that ward.
I am so happy with Larry's prognosis that I could burst.
Looking forward to Di's next report.

You know, this really reminds me of a joke. This guy is walking down the street with a frog on his head and another guy walks up and asked "what happened to you" and the frog responded "well it all started with a small wart on my ass"......

Di, Read your blog and saw your recent post and the very good news that Larry is eligible for a transplant. Didn't leave a comment 'cause it wanted to post my full name. I'll change that on yahoo
In the meantime - Mutants - read Di's latest post on the Blog.

gC@PCFRVP Day 3
The day started off with blue skies and calm winds. Once again the weather treated us kindness. Jim and Paula joining us early morning, but without their 5er. Their RV, though livable, cannot be moved until the insurance details get worked out. We are so thankful that the fire in their battery compartment wasn't the total devastation that comes with most RV fires. It was great seeing them again and Jim helped get my new recumbent trike's gears adjusted. Thanks Jim!
Mutants were busy running errands and visiting in groups -- big and small. Colleen (Sohapi) and her grands stopped by for a short visit as she was driving by on I-10. This has been a tough month for her and Hunter. We hope March brings happier and less hectic days for them.
The planned FaceTime call to Larry was postponed. He left ICU and now resides in a step down unit and is now receiving physical therapy. Yeah Larry! Keep progressing, bro! We know you've got what it takes to get outta that place.
Tonight was Mardi Gras night, RVMutant style. The park gave us access to space in the Cantina (only open Thursday thru Sunday) The food was superb! The company -- wonderful as usual and we all ate too much Jambalaya, dirty rice, clam chowder, clam and onion fritters, yummy coleslaw, (Sena's favorite) and decadent desserts. Sue made chocolate Mardi Gras masks on a stick. Are ya drooling, yet?
After dinner we gathered around Steve's fire pit so that first time GCers, Dave and Carol, could be properly initiated into RVMdom, That includes taking the Mutant oath and receiving their official Mutant mascot from the Grand Poobah.
So now all the full and content RVM have returned to their coaches tonight, we all look forward to more fun tomorrow.
Good night Muteys!

OK, I have been asked to come forward. I have been sitting quietly in the corner watching the RVM lifestyle going on and reading all the reports and praying for Larry and Dwizi.
So here it goes... mine (rv) is a 2000 Holiday Rambler, rescued from living under a huge blue tarp where it had been in the company of mice.
Have you seen those poor mangy dogs they show you on TV to separate you from your money?
After selling the B&S
We bought her, took her home, washed her, ripped carpets, remove bedding, furniture, washed the walls repaired a couple leaks, sealed roof,
changed fluids, bypassed heater, (I think you get the picture) None of the new units have what I had. Does that qualify?
I dont have a fancy water heating system, but I heat water the old fashioned way (Atwood propane heater) repaired it for less than $20.00 and now it works great.
I don't have fancy induction cook top, DW has to crank that little knob on the left while she turns the gas knob on and do it quick or you will burn your eyebrows if not.
I truly believe that "the journey is the destination". And you better have some tools and a towing policy or a healthy bank account because paying for repairs on a MH while you are on this journey is not going to be cheap.
I have enjoyed the pics, and have identified some of you.
Have prayed for Larry who I thought was and old gizzard but after seeing his picture on the blog surely he can stand to hang amongst the living for a while longer. After all is that not what we are praying for?
