We're back in Benson and settled in for a few days. It was great to see everyone again, and so nice to finally meet Dave and Carol (RVM66). It's about time!! We also have new mutants Grant, Mary, Will, Dixie and any others Dave might have inducted while I was sleeping. He was on a roll! We need to keep an eye out for them to get official here on the thread... before all RVMdom....
7 nights. Not enough!

Rest up, Oregon last for two weeks for many!
Let me ask again, where was the gC in Tuscon held, what campground? We'll be looking for a couple nights stay in July. I figure the management may have forgotten about the mutant shenanigans by then.

I think they are closed in July. A great place in Tucson in July would be Catalina state park. There are many places in or near Tucson.

Thanks, I had heard I wouldn't have trouble finding a spot in July. Thought we would just look around maybe Tucson then Yuma then on to CA. That area should be safe with all the mutants cleared out.

And Butterfield - where we are now in Benson is nice. Good for hanging out or going to Tombstone. Probably wanna be closer to Tucson if short on time.

Here we are at the rest area right after Exit 0. Not a single vehicle is here, sure hope it's open LOL
Time for some dinner then back to heading towards San Antonio.

Forgot to mention the hour and a half detour in AZ where I wound up getting back on I-10 in New Mexico! Some kind of major accident and dust storms is what I read. Been nice since that with a nice tail wind.

So many places, so little time. May have to make a winter trip to cover the area next year. Kind of hard to plan when my kids keep having kid.

We saw the flashing sign about a wreck but no delay as far as Benson.
