Hey lookee here, we have a pool! See? Our own oasis, complete with goldfish, palms, and birdfeeders. (Dang! I also got Martin's shadow ... oops!)

Tough to swim laps, though.

Planning to stay 10 days before moving on to Kingman.

I went on an adventure today. Me and a family of 13 climbed into the back of a pickup truck outfitted with 2 rows of seats and were driven out onto Navaho land for a guided tour of the upper Antelope Slot Canyon. Our guide, Lenard, himself a Navaho showed us a most wonderful and magical place. When we came out the far end Lenard took his triple flute out of deerskin pouch and played us a beautifully haunting melody. If you are ever in Northern AZ I urge you view this amazing natural wonder. Here is just 1 of the 100+ photos I took with my iPad.

And Tim... they're aware of the twinz and sending Oms. It would be silly for me to tell you mutants what first time parents are experiencing. But Jay and Andrea are apparently busy, cause he tells me so.... ever hear of such thing??? Lol.

Seeing RVM21 post and thinking about the kids got me to thinking - I'd sure like to hear from some of those long lost mutants. If you're on the list and haven't rang in lately - the floor is yours!

If you wanna be on the list - tell us something your RV doesn't have and you don't miss - and declare the journey is the destination! That's it - and you'll be the next - newest RV Mutant!

Several posts ago Steve asked where I was. We're in Williams AZ (good name for a town...) for a week, going to take the train up to the Grand Canyon on Thursday. Plan to leave Saturday and go over to Winslow for a week or so.

Congrats Jay and Andrea! I love Stella's name. How exciting that she is the first RVM baby!

If you haven't seen Meteor Crater (exit 233) I encourage you to do so, but get there by 1:30 to be assured that you can join a guided tour.

We stayed just north of Winslow at Homolovi State Park. Large sites with water and electric only $25/night all taxes included. There's a dump station as you enter the campground. It's a mile north of I-40 so it's really quiet.

We're about 2 hours north of Flagstaff near Page, AZ boondocking on the beach on Lake Powell. I plan to stay here until it gets too warm. Come join us!
