FYI - Earlene had to put HER car in for some tidy-ups. Of course they give her a loaner car. However, they didn't have any so guess what. They pulled a 2017 Lincoln MKZ off the new car lot, tore the sticker out of the side window, and away she went. A $52K loaner. She has driven it a few times but is so reluctant to do so. She's afraid she'll get a scratch on it. I like sitting in the passenger seat playing with all the bells and whistles.

She turns it in today as her car is ready. I think they do that so she'll buy a new car. Not going to happen....oops - never say never.

I had to take the Mustang in several years ago for some body work (icy street, door meet stop sign, stop sign won). There was a Ford GT (the $250K type) in the showroom so I asked if I could use it for a loaner car (never hurts to ask, right?) I wasn't as fortunate as Earlene...

Just buy it for her you big lug. She probably looks even better in the new one. [emoji14]

Earlene loves her car! That girl would look good in any car, but looks best when she's happy. Hear that, Wayne?! You know the mantra: happy wife .... and all the rest.

Us gals have to stick up for each other, donchaknow!

Hi, Earlene!

Ah, a new day! And the day to celebrate is:

My Bucket Has a Hole in It Day!

Didja remove the pillow off the fridge yet? Me neither.

Chuck,
By now you should have learned that the 'big lug' is a somewhat a tad on the cheap side. I know for a fact that he is quite the spendthrift as he is known for throwing nickles around like they were merely manhole covers.

I know. I thought it was my tinnitus, but have determined that it's just his squeaking when he walks. Lol

Morning y'all! So did everyone survive the holiday weekend? It was beautiful up here, but today is overcast and cool. I guess that's so all those folks still making paychecks don't mind returning to slavery.

Wayne, I know you aren't gonna let that shiny new ride stay in your garage. The one you have now has more bells and whistles than you can use. Me? I'm holding out for one of those self-driving models. It's sure is hard to see the sights when ya gotta keep your eyes on the asphalt.

Parking at my DD's new house is a major challenge due to the steep hillside. DD is insisting that a professional sign-off on any major dirt rearrangement. For some reason she fears that we might slalom down the hill into her house. It couldn't be all the rain or earthquakes they have here, could it?

I'm sure glad my investment account has been doing well since November. I fear it's about to take a good hit. Oh well, DD assures me this is her last move so making us an easier, quieter place seems like a good investment. It's only her inheiritance.

Go have some fun today!
