Is this doctor a specialist in back problems? If he isn't, I wouldn't be stopping with his opinion or diagnosis. Wonders are being performed in the best hospitals. Search, if you feel it's necessary, for an expert who's done hundreds of back surgeries. JMHO MRI of the whole region at least. JMHO I believe that veterans' health benefits will cover a true specialist at a top notch back and spine center.

Ditto on what Steve said. Sounds like a Chiropractor which I tryed for my back and almost couldn't drive myself home. Some think they hung the moon, just wasn't my experances with my back issues. I gave him 10 visits before giving up on him, and he came highly recommended. If they can definitely say what the problem is, then it can be fixed. Surgery to TRY something was the best I could get from the Dr. so I passed. This is just my opinion.

Yeah Jake! Congratulation! Yeah, I'm late to the party, but being a west coast night owl comes with a little baggage. Check your email for the keys to RVMdom.

Agree with the MRI. My nephew was mainly getting therapy and steroid injections but that wasn't fixing the problem, just addressing symptoms. It wasn't until he went through the BS the insurance company made him go through before they'd let him get an MRI. Once that was done, the *real* problem was clear and now he's going in to get the two discs fixed next week. Being a veteran, I'd think you'd be covered at least for the MRI where they can see what's really going on.

Sounds to me as if the good doctor dislocated your TMJ (jaw joint). Hopefully not a difficult fix. Ommnms!

Ok all. Dwayne isnt a vet, Shara is.

I am not sure Dwayne has insurance. Possibly disability, under social security disability. I know that is a problem. There are other things too but D is not covered under S insurance.

prayers Dwayne.

We have landed in Wells, Nevada. Earliest arrival yet. We got to see the diesel train rolling on the way out of Ely this morning! Choo Choo!

What's with the uncovered car? Looks like they're collecting money too but without a roof, why pay?

He tells the story. You can go back and forth from car to car. But then again, you were only looking for another campfire!!

For an hour or so heading to Wells from Ely, the mountain is in view. Once at the park, it is even more in view!

75 degrees and feeling fine!

That's nice weather and the view is wonderful but it all still looks dead. I wished they'd plant more things out there.
