8 pages of KETSUP! I am finally current on this thread for a few minutes.
Y'all that didn't get to see the eclipse missed something spectacular and a wee bit eerie. But don't fret there will be another total eclipse on 4/08/2024 that will take a route from Texas to Maine.
The way things filled up fast out here we better start planning that one soon. See ya there Muties!

Idanha Totality
This was the view we had today watching the great solar eclipse of 2017. It was as perfect as the fires would allow (a little smokey).
A special thanks to Barb for all the leg work and arrangements for this very successful GC!!!

Great picture.
MANY.THANKS to Barb for the fore site & efforts to set in motion the Oregon blast & kindled a desire in me to partake, even if a few miles away.
I believe it encouraged Queen Ann to get better so we could view this spectacular event with Sue & Martin a bonus.
And the posts along the way kept us going

The beat goes on
Tonight it's Margarita, tie dye, taco Tuesday. Everyone is chipping in some part of the makings of the tacos or margaritas.
From what I've seen from a glimpse of some of the tie dyed shirts, the fashion show should be the revealing of some marketable merchandise.
We inducted our two newest mutants into the kingdom/queendom of mutantdom. The latest addition to our roles are Kelly and Orlando. They are the caterers that park owners Jim and Laurie (also brand new mutants) hired to serve all of us and a few others some wonderful vittles. They were instantly enchanted with our group's lifestyle and ability to emphasize our likenesses rather that our differences. They plan on being full fledged mutants. Their smoked chicken and BBQed tritip was awesome.
