Hmmm you and I had the same thought.
I just held back posting that thought a little longer than you did.

Yesterday Dave (RVM13) and I were discussing our time in Oregon this year. Our paths didn't cross but we came away with the same idea. We have to go back! We both want to get much more time along the coast, etc. And they loved visiting Portland. We didn't even get there. And I have to get up to Port Townsend, Wa.

But we did keep the lifesize dancing santa,,,, with all of the extra storage in the attic, i can leave him set up, and just get him out.....
Guess i need a selfie with him,..

Ok..... the tree is Naked.....
i am long past the age of putting out tinsel with me being naked....
but dont doubt that I might have, once upon a time..... no, I didnt even blush...... but then those who have met me, would not be surprised by anything, methinks......
As to dancing with Santa, when he comes out of the attic, I will take a video.....
And not scrooge, I bring out about 20 Santa figures, and 20 nutcrackers......

We switched to heavy duty silicone spatulas (sturdy ones) long ago with thick wooden handles... went through too many cheapos ... handles broke, plastic melted into the molten sugar...etc, etc... I even bought Bob a candy makers slab (marble roll out station and rolling pin)years ago for this feat...he makes horehounds to die for too... and sometimes, cinnamon candies. all molten sugar things.

My ficus tree used as a Christmas tree is still bare nekkid except for it's lights... but I got the cards done today! One day at a time... big day ain't even for 24 more days!
Bob did something new with his powered parachute today... he got up early, flew from Paola to Gardner, had breakfast and refueled flew home... normally he just gets up and flies a loop around an area and then lands back where he started. His vintage/experimental aircraft club had a breakfast event at the Gardner airport. I slept through it all He was tired today though, had a lot to accomplish, so he hit the hay early.

I prowl around here some most nights before I hit the bed too.
We're down to one dog now. Big Max was just too dog aggressive, someone's dog was going to get really hurt. We had to put him down while we were in California. We were waiting outside the vet's office there and he even tried to get at a German Shepard that was inside a car. Beau the papillon took sick while we were traveling, got him to a vet here last Saturday. Vet went above and beyond working with him but he just couldn't pull out of it. If you're in Yuma and need a vet, I can recommend a damn good one...

I'm so sorry you had to lose both of them. One is hard enough, no matter the reason. Who is left?
Hi, Carol!
