But it's a damp warmer.

Deb, you and Dale need to take an extended winter vacation and come down to the warm. It was only 61* here today, but tomorrow we warm up to 67* and then a week of 70s. Plenty of sunshine and light winds will make for some WONDERFUL days.
So it's ok to use words other than 4 letter words. So, let's try this: two degrees and frozen ice crystals on the truck. Is that better? There was no 4 letter words in that!

And mosquitos and fire ants and mildew. I enjoyed the friendships of the 2 winters I spent in Florida, but not the bugs and humidity. It is so much easier to add a little moisture to the desert air than it is to tease it out of the swamp where you spend winter.

Here comes Santa Clause
Here comes Santa Clause
Right down Santa Clause lane!

Oh Holy night the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear savior's birth

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year!

You just picked the wrong spots in Florida - I have no fire ants at all. Maybe you haven't seen where I stay, but a "swamp" it is not, far from it. And us east-coasters are used to something above 20% humidity, it's how we keep the static electricity from taking out all our computers

Don't worry, I'll remind you what temps you're missing out on...

Ah, Christmas Eve and at our house with the family and friends it is Etouffee, Ham, and all the trimmings and food that others will bring. I hear there will be 8 deserts.

So!

A very Merry Christmas to all of you and may all your days be filled with joy.

I don't comment very often but I do read all the posts daily.
We haven't minied or mdiied or GCed. but if we ever get to leave home this winter we may try to meet some folks in the warm states West of the Mississippi.
A few medical things (none life altering) have kept us home and we should be able to leave in mid Jan.

Do you believe in Santa?

I do! How else would you explain the Christmas presents under the tree, "From Santa?"

Update, and Merry Christmas to the Mutants! We've been in our new (to Us) bricks and sticks home in Carson City, NV since we moved here in April from Tucson. Pat finally said no to summer heat! So the lows have been running 15 to 19 degrees and it is almost time to be snowbirds. Mid-January, we head back to Tucson for a couple months at the Far Horizons-Tucson Village RV Park.
