I'll tell ya, those up in the panhandle, wow, they closed I-10 due to ice/snow build-up! Chilly down this-a-way, but it's the weekly Florida "winter", next week is back to normal. Still way better than what's up North!!!

Our RV park had a dance. Lots of fun. I took margaritas and shrimp for our table (0 carb margarita mix, love it).

Mary Ann and hope that you and Annie enjoy your time in the sun. Wishing you good, warm weather for the duration of your stay.

40's and rain last night and early morning just east of Tampa Bay. Geesh, we didn't sign up for this. However, it's better that 11 below zero at home.

An indoor, not just covered, meeting area big enough to hold 50-100 people.

Anything else is gravy.

Why inside meeting room. Texas weather is a constant gamble and is changing all the time. Spring, Summer and Fall can be hot so inside with AC is a preferred meeting place. Winters can be either warm, warmish, cold, or colder and an inside place is great for all around meetings. The larger meeting place will accommodate many other groups also.

We came across a book written by lawyers with forms etc just for rv parks and problems to help avoid very informative but for Oregon I’m not at the park now but when I head back up could get info if you’re interested? In Oregon rv parks come under the same heading as a hotel so hotel rules apply. Be sure to check your county and town rules - sales tax, bathroom codes, building codes for enclosed meeting room, lodging tax. Then if you’re renting spaces monthly - renter rules or daily-seasonal just a few thoughts we are still learning Good luck

Dave and I raced scooters at Frys today. Here I am about to lap him for the third time. In fairness, he didn't run anyone over and isn't a certified operator.

In fairness, Steve knows how to duck down behind a Twinkie display rack and then claim a lap on me for it.
Next time Mario! Next time!

Thanks Laurie! I should have known you'd have great info! The name of the book would be most helpful.

This was part of the artin Mars water bomber support fleet. I was looking at it today around the corner from our place and I hear it could be had for $60K USD

Attention MIGC or whatever we decided to call it attendees. How many are planning to arrive early or staying late? When given the go ahead by Papa Steve I want to have my plans made. We're thinking of arriving a week early and touring the area then departing for home at the close of the GC. Interested in others plans.

Tim... I'm just getting around to pondering that myself. I don't believe we are heading directly to Normal from Az. Will probably swing by there when the GC concludes and then head for Az. So I need to figure out where to spend our time up until Sep...
