Ok guys getting back to the Park April 1st very excited. Jim is doing great, fistula is good and dialysis is on track. Question for you though, we want to pave (asphalt) the road how heavy are your RV's approx.? Several of you said asphalt road but cement spaces? We have to do this in stages (money) so would love input. Thanks, Laurie & Jim

Sounds exciting! Glad Jim is doing well.
Some RV's are upwards of 50-60k pounds! Really heavy.

[QUOTE=Wayne M;4063745]Speakin' 'bout the Devil - where has Papa Steve been. Not heard from him recently.
Mary Ann and I have been killing ourselves moving stuff out of our motor home and into our new park model at our RV "resort".
We pulled the trigger on a cute park model (loads of pictures on Facebook). It's been in our plans for the future. This "cottage" was in too good of shape and the right price to not buy it now.
We plan on selling our motor home after the FEUMGC in September. Anyone interested?? Best price between 84 and 101 thousand. Will put it up for sale on consignment in Florida if it doesn't sell sooner on RVTrader or other sites.

FEUMGC update
New deadline for reserving a site close to Mutant Central and the community hall. It's April 1, 2018. After that date, you may be lucky enough to camp near the rest of us. As I reported earlier, Michigan (especially upper Michigan) is a DESTINATION FOR RVers in the Fall. Campgrounds near THE BRIDGE operation under the "Golden Rule of RV resorts". They own the gold and you play by their rules.
As of March 2, 2018, there are 18 mutants and friends of mutants that have reservations at Mill Creek RV Campgound, cabins, and motel. I think I know some names of mutants that don't have sites reserved yet. I hope that some mutants that are in Michigan visiting family/friends can join us for a day trip or a day or two. We would love to see the likes of Mel and Kate for example.
So heads up MUTIES. Let me know when you have your reservations in at the FEUMGC.
Love you guys.

Hi there Laurie and Jim. Great to hear from you!
Glad you're on the mend, Jim. Best wishes and Ohms as you continue treatment!
My rig is about 40,000 lbs. if it matters, the heaviest load is on the front tires, about 7500 lbs each.
We all miss you, to the Mooning and back!
Dave and Nola

Hey Jeff. We're starting to look at Yuma options and finding most places not appealing. Before I call Jean, could you give me a heads up on what sort of vacancies she would have available, from the 8th for 2 weeks, preferably without jumping trees. Thanks.

Can't remember his name, but I once saw a comedian do an R-rated version of Midnight at the Oasis featuring Popeye and Olive Oyl.
Martin, have you checked Adobe Village east of Yuma? Not much shade but really big spaces and a good price compared to other parks. They might be full at the moment, I'm not sure. There have been a few come and go.
