Carl, I find it interesting that you enjoy dining on Mac and Boko's relatives with such delight. I wonder what Dr Freud would have said about that?

Not sure how to post the Far Side cartoon but it's a chicken sick in bed with another chicken bringing it soup. The caption reads, "Oh, stop complaining. Chicken soup is good for you. Besides, it's nobody we know."
Tim, playing some music for the chickens might improve the egg production. Suggest Ray Steven's version of 'In the Mood'...

They're as much related to chickens as you are to cows.

Sorry Wayne your not on FB to see the big reveal, should be a real photo spread. This morning I've been out teaching chickens to drink from poultry nipples! I'm kind of picking up their language already.
|
So you are a big cluck?
Careful of that snake near the coop that you can't identify.
Glad to see the chickens have some ground to run for if the coop tips over.
Careful, I have a FB page.

Barb, when Mac and Boko were giving him trouble he stuck them in the freezer and in no time at al they were behaving. They really wanted to know what the chicken in there did to die frozen.

Not yet, hens went straight to roost when we got home with them and mom said Grands were worn out and straight to bed when they got home. It's tiring spending the day at grampas.

If they don't produce eggs that's what they'll be.

They do have a song they squawk when laying. First day with chickens egg count up to three! 1 green and 2 chocolate colored speckled eggs. Pop on Facebook.

Oh, wait, the lovely lady of the two counts for 1-1/2, okay,

I can only assume that it's the two Kopfmans that attended the Great Mooning in Oregon. Don and Colleen of course and a son or nephew or ?? with the same last name.
I can count too good sir.

I already had a disclaimer saying my math was not so good.
I should never question the teacher!

Sue, guess what came in the mail today! Good article for some areas but here in AR the woods are so crowed with hunters that walking around ie stalking or slow walking around as in the article could get you shot!
My still hunting consist of enclosed deer stand complete with heater, thermos of coffee and assorted snacks! To show you how I really rough it I use an old office chair that over time leaks off and gets lower and lower and lower. Completely ruins my nap some days. Also I park a rediculous 30 yards away from the stairs to my stand! To quote Les Nessman, "Oh the Humanity".
In my early years of hunting, read that younger days, we often hunted in a slow stalking mode like the author described. As I was teaching my boys how to hunt they caught on to the fact that when I said lets just stop here and hunt a few minutes, I was actually just taking a rest break. They still refer to a rest break from hiking, fencing are any other strenuous activity as stopping and hunting a while. Dad do you want to hunt a while? Let's do!
Thanks for thinking of me!
