We have the Dyson Animal V6. Has great attachments and the small beater head is great for the entry side carpet and getting the dog hairs off. Also great for car carpets etc. The regular head also has a beater brush and picks up items real well. There are two power suctions. Normal and Boost for stubborn stuff.

When we had full carpet in the 2008 except for the kitchen the V6 would do the whole RV with one charge and every once in a while using the Boost.

We take it in and out of the house to RV and back.

What's our date ... the 14th? (How could I forget???)

Hey! We might make TC by then! Leaving on I-10 from Lordsburg NM tomorrow for points east. Van Horn seems too far (for us wusses); it's about 6 hours & not worth the stress.

Cotton Valley? Terrible reviews. Sierra Vista? Almost to VH. Does anybody have any better ideas?

It's a desert out there! 😕

OTOH, Lordsburg KOA isn't bad.

We went to the museum in town this morning:

By the time we went home & had lunch, neither of us felt like going back. 😐 On the up side, some really nice people strolled by our site midafternoon & stopped in for a long get-acquainted visit.

Packing up has begun for tomorrow's run, so once again the wallpaper will be changing all day. Looks to be a nice tailwind, too. Let's hope!

Cheers!

She will be posting in a few days when she (apparently) moves to a new location.
That's good to know, Wayne. I saw her fb post and was a little concerned someone had verbally abused her and that's why she was going offline. Glad to hear its nothing like that.

Hello all; we're still here............
Tom, thank you! I'll take a look at the shark!

So in all reality, are we better off just ripping out the carpet and putting flooring and rugs? I have seen lots of glampers do that. But whaddya say? That may or may not be the wisest choice, yanno?

BTW, Shark here. 5 years and flawless!

And I wish to call all RVMs to overwhelm this thread with the motivation we now need, that is starting to diminish!
Motivation? Diminishing?

LOL..... When you meet Barb you will better understand.... She is a mighty lady, and can give much mire than she ever takes...... she would not be one I would spar words with, but then I LOVE her dearly, and admire her even more....

Haha well she sounds like a force to be reckoned with, then! Looking forward to meeting her someday.

Ohhhh now I'm *really* thinking! Hmm. Hubby may need to put a limit on me with this stuff haha. I'm super excited to bring some of my leaf babies with me, then. Thank you!

Hyacinths this morning. Fragrance hasn't been released yet... flowers just popped yesterday.
