My dear Carl. Read all of the posts. My front tv works flawlessly on cable mode. My TV problem has been ongoing since some whattobe technician did some work in the area of the tv switch, cable jungle, etc. I believe it was his fault for me to lose the cable feed to the 3 aft tvs. I didn't notice the problem until I was miles and miles from his location and I finally tried to get cable tv to work in the bedroom.

Wayne, picture this. Above the windshield on the passenger side is a storage cabinet 15 x 25 or so. In the back of that cabinet is a false rear wall with a switch that has two choices on it (air or cable) and it has a green light this is illuminated when the switch is on "air". Behind that false wall are cable and electrical wires galore (a jungle of spaghetti going and laying in all directions). 2 connections for cable wires (one is a splitter and the other is a 6 connector junction box with appropriate labeling as to what plugs into it. All connections are tight. However, not a single cable wire has any labels on THEM so the technician could have fooled with those connections. God knows what REALLY goes where with around 8 or 9 separate cables running around, in mass, in this small enclosure. I'm afraid to experiment by moving 2 of the cables at a time to see if they've been moved and thus in the wrong place on the 6 lead labeled junction box.

And no, there's no factory literature or diagrams to be found.

If not resolved by the time we meet in MI, a day shall be devoted to fix tv gremlins (or undo what others messed up).

The CUMMINS shop in Winchester is where my turbo was repaired 1 year ago. I was hoping I wasn’t gonna be jinxed!

Funny, I went back before that post and *did* read all the posts!!!

If the wiring diagrams Wayne posted are NG, another thought is using a wire tester, something that allows you to send a tone down the wire and see it on the other end. That would tell you what goes where, that is if the other end is even where it should be

Hello All Mutants,

We have arrived at Clear Lake campground just south of Princeton, TX what a nice park !!! We have fhu but on 30amp for $15.00 a night but we can survive on that, the breeze off the lake is wonderful, so we will camp out for 6 days and see what kind of shenanigans we can get into, Marcia has already found an Irish Pub y'all

Di, thinking of you with that iron infusion. I hope that does the trick! And maybe get it checked more often, if it can be caught early so no need for 7 hour infusions? Do you have that MTHFR genetic dysfunction that prevents your body from accurately absorbing iron?

Charlene

Nope... Mine is a result of gastric bypass surgery 11 years ago... it was diagnosed 8 years ago, my ferritin dropped to 7, this time it is 17, which is the lowest it has been since... i have had to get yearly infusions, usually in a series, but gonna do it all at once this time.... i do not absorb iron, so this will be ongoing, I just had a infusion series last June, gonna be fine, just sitting all day is difficult, and not being to put eyes on Larry....

I'm happy to report that Smarty is back on the road with new shoes all around. I can’t believe this took 6 days to resolve.

We finally made it thru Salt Lake traffic and are now in Burley, Idaho for the night. Tomorrow we will get back on track when we pull into Twin Falls, ID.
