I have taken Queen Ann to visit "Royalty".

Here to count butterfly's

I needed Tim, I could not count enough --- Ran out of Fingers & Toes...

Lots of species found and identified by our experts... Very interesting and much cooler on mountain top...

Glad to be back home

Hot and wild here at home. Two of the grands staying with us and tomorrow all seven show up!

It will be a great time I'm sure!

Today was a disappointment. Getting ready to leave and pulling in the slides the kitchen slide will not come in. Being a Sunday it is impossible to find a mobile repair.

I searched and searched for the second slide controller for that slide and could not find it. I finally found some wiring diagrams and figured out where it was. The bedroom controller is in the bedroom. (I knew that.) The kitchen controller is in the pull-out bay at the front top of the ceiling. It blinked the "code 8" which is a wiring problem. Most likely not a problem I want to undertake so I'm waiting for tomorrow to try and get someone out here.

Hunter has been a great help by email but it's not fixed.

At least we are comfortable with two of three AC's going. Can't run the 3rd one here as it trips the breaker. Had the same thing in Mayport but all other places were fine.

Tomorrow!

Hate to hear of your problems. It really dosnt make it any better but we are having ac problems. One of the three in our S&B is not working. The one for the upstairs! Problem is son and DIL and two grands are visiting. So of course at bedtime we give them our house and Mary and I go to The Discovery! Nothing like camping out in the barn!

Ah Wayne, Sorry to hear of the troubles... there is always something it seems, new or old... so sad it happened to you. You have had your share of MOHO troubles.

Rough weekend for grandma and grandpa this final weekend of baseball for the grandsons.

90 degree+ heat Saturday and Sunday. 2 games Sat. and 4 games Sun.

11yo finally got is over the fence home run while playing up an age group for another team Batting average over .700 for the season with an on base percentage of over .800. Wants to be a pro player. We'll keep you posted on that endeavor. Maybe 10+ years.

15yo team got to the final 3 in a tournament. He's decided to drop baseball and concentrate on his high school football. Outside linebacker and free safety. 6' 170 lbs and fast.

Taking our new camper out for a spin Tuesday thru Thursday to check on any kinks that need ironed out. Another gs is going with us.

So sorry, Wayne, to hear that but, my word, that does bring back bad memories - welcome to the wonderful world of the Lippert Schwinteck slide system. Our previous Tuscany had two slides with those; the kitchen slide failed regularly and that was possibly the main reason for our trading out. Good luck with the fix.

I see Dwayne and Shara had such a good night that they want a redo of their wedding ceremony. That honeymoon must have been something special. Too bad we can't be there as we have Christmas commitments elsewhere.

FEUMGC folks: How many of us still know how to cook on/over/in a campfire? How many would be interested in preparing & sharing a meal so cooked?

Aside from S'mores & potatoes cooked with the coals, there is a whole universe of foods we could try out.

Martin used to make "dampers", simple bread on a stick, similar to what Mother made w/ Bisquick. Tim has a Dutch oven, I believe, which can make all sorts of dishes (including a mean peach cobbler). Cooking in foil is another option, since we won't have banana leaves.

Is anybody game?
