We always figure that things happen for a reason. Sometimes we find out what the reason is and at other times we just have to "believe."

For Earlene's birthday today I took her on a 190 mile ride. Nice of me, eh?

Just for the record, I'm wore out! Been checking my tire pressure and airing up The Discovery tires using a compressor thats 120 psi max. Compressor dosnt kick in till down to 95 psi so I'm up and down all day adding a few pounds of air. Got the four rear tires, decided to go to pilot to get the front. That'll be tomorrow!

Getting ready to depart for the GC!

Hi Wayne. Small world, Elkhart CF, in Goshen, is where we rally with the Thor Diesel Club in September, a few days after our GC in Michigan.
Best of luck at Lippert.

Thanks for remembering us. Auctioneers come in 2 weeks to clear out house, garage, barn and other outbuildings. House is now painted outside. They are coming back tomorrow morning to wash the windows. Yeah, one less job for us. Ours will be ready to go on the market in 2 weeks. I'm showing our Subaru to a prospective buyer tomorrow. Hope she sells.

Busy mutants sure are quiet mutants. What all are you all up to?

Oh wait, there's movers, there's shakers (Mr. round comes to mind), there's market makers selling things. Summer time sure gets everyone involved in things.

Me? Oh, I watched my camera fall over on the tripod with a 5 lb lens attached to it, rip the screws right out of the mount on the camera body Never fear, Nikon repair is there The estimate isn't so bad, will have to see what the final cost is once they actually fix it.

In the meantime I picked up a refurbished D7200 as it's got the same controls and everything my D750 has, just not quite the same sensor size and such. Compatible with all my other lenses and gadgets so it was a no brainer to have a spare. And it takes GREAT shots!!!

I suppose a camera lens is mechanical so Mohmmms would be appropriate. I hope the repairs happen quickly at a reasonable price. No doubt this fits into "the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys" category.

Fortunately, not the lens, they might charge more to fix that! The part that needs repair is the part of the camera body where the lens connects to it.

And I'm not sure a camera falls into the "boys/men" toy category since pretty much everyone has a camera in one form or another. Now if you consider all the stuff I've purchase *for* the camera, well, that's another story

The camera I normally use (Canon 20D) stopped working and kept giving me an ERROR 99 code. Repairs were questionable because error 99 covered hundreds of issues within the vernacular of the Canon folks, so they could not provide a good repair estimate.

Happened to look at the Kijiji.ca site and found a replacement 20D for $180.00 and it came with three lenses and an external flash, which upon being sold had me net $30.00 to the good.

I had to out do my Boko buddy
