Where? Since you didn't find her in Arkansas, I'm guessing, how did you run across this pic?

Good find!

Good find!

You didn't see our 2 warships, one a big submarine at North Little Rock...

Now when you are here you can watch the submarine races... I did a lot of that when in San Diego... LOL...

Truthefully, I was just visiting family in Tampa... I often go across the bay to St. Petersburg & out to that BIG PIER with shopping etc...

And there it was, tied up for a few days, on its way from/to who knows where....

Well, here we go again.

Rain rain go away. Got the slide fixed at the Lippert Component Inc. service center in Goshen, IN. It was a bad motor.

Then last evening there was one heck of a rain storm with sheets of rain coming down sideways...and little waterfalls inside the motorhome. Dang! It was dry with little rainfall for 3 days - inside.

Jeff gave me a good lead on an RV repeair place called "Master Tech RV" in Elkhart, IN. I called them this morning with my roof leak and told them what I believed the problem to be. Thy said to bring it in and they would take care of it. Much better than all the other places along the way that are booked up for weeks. I knew it was most likely the front AC seal, and it was. When they were climbing up the technician could see a gap under the front of the forward AC. He said if he had a ruler it would have slide right under the gasket. When they pulled the unit out the seal that goes across the middle separating the heat from the cold was missing.

Anyhow, not knowing what had previously been done I ask that all three seals be replaced. They did. When the backed it out a heavy rain occurred giving me a chance to look inside for tel-tails. None were visible.

We are now at the Pla Mor RV Park in Bremen, IN and just up the road is Amish Acres. They have tours and might even be into some of the farm houses. It's going to be a good two weeks.

Thanks Jeff.

Good to hear Wayne. I hate leaks. I had one in mine earlier this year. Water started showing up in an overhead light, collecting till it dripped down. I kept hunting for the issue and then discovered one of the vent pipes that spins had a section where the sealant was no longer there. Wasn't noticeable because there was none! After sealing that up the leak stopped and I'm dry again.

Wayne be sure to check out the electronics stores in Amish country. I hear they need the business. We're looking at Shipshewana on our way up. Main purpose to find out where they got that name!

Tim, I thought everyone knew how Shipshewana got its name. You see long, long ago the folks in Boring, Indiana had some important foreign guests (probably from Arkansas) who had trouble with our language. One of these guest wanted to buy a prime heifer, but he only brought the horse and buggy and didn’t want to walk the cow all the way home, she was too special for all that exercise. He was trying to ask if they could ship the cow to his home, but couldn’t get anyone to understand what he was trying to say. Finally he shouts out, "Ship she wanna?" This made all of the Boring residents laugh until their sides hurt. In commemoration of that event the town changed it's name from Boring to Shipshewana so they could remember that day forever after.

Ok Wayne, I suggest you have a stern chat with Beauty and tell her what happened to Citrus (and everyone in the Houston area) because she (Citrus) refused to behave.

It's good to hear about good RV repair experiences for a change. Glad y'all are back on the Rainbow.
