Rest easy mutants, there is one less potential deadly deer-auto collision. One of these potentially deadly critters is locked away in the big chiller! Drive safely mutants! 😎

We are slowly wending West, Meridian MS for now. Need to take a dip into another local culture!

As we go along, the inverter/charger seems to be acting up. Underway, batteries charge normally. On shore power, yes and no. The gauges say no, my voltmeter says yes.
Inverter is normally off, but no outlets with 110 that way. Turn on the inverter and all 110 power is fine, except that it drains the batteries pronto! The roof ac/heat is fine.

So, tenting without a tent is in play. Extension cord from pedestal for single-point, all purpose, appliance power. We are not disabled, but would love a bit of TV. The genny and all requirements for travel are perfect.

So, we need to find an RV electrical guru. Ideas welcome.

Hugs, Dave and Nola

Check on the side of the inverter for pop out breakers. Had the same issue and as suggested by MartinC the 30 Amp was tripped.

Dave, turn it off wait 60 seconds, turn it back on. End of my expertise!

Di, there is a mutant, BillyandKrise that ask in a thread they started, might be under General Discussion, about the FMHC travel assist program. These are frequent visitors at Lake Ouchita State Park and full timers from Hot Springs that might want to here your opinion. Always good to here first hand so I didn't post anything other than a hello.

Hopeing everything going well! Excuse the long grammatical error sentence, I'm tired!

Thanks for the info.
I’ve tried all of that
I have confirmed that the inverter is not doing a pass-thru of 110

We do not have reservations, so we hope to find some space boondocking. Our best guess if all goes as planned we should make the RV show. Please don't spend a lot of time and effort saving more space, hope it's just a matter of flagging out the area.
