Oops, sorry I didn't get far enough down on the page to see the Scotch Egg recipe. Duh!
I would still appreciate the Clam Chowder one though whenever you have time.

Well, if I have to share, then I have to share.
Instead of Email I'll put it here. Remember that this is for the Instant Pot but I'm sure it would work in a regular pot, just a longer cooking time.
First, here is the basic recipe I use for Clam Chowder:
<https://www.hippressurecooking.com/15-minute-new-england-clam-chowder/>
I do a few modifications. (I always make a double recipe)
I use 2 cans of canned clams one can find in a grocery store. They are the whole baby clams. I also over indulge a little and buy a can of whole oysters. I chop them to my satisfaction which usually lives them larger than chop canned clams
I strain the clams and oysters and use their juices as part of the clam juice ingredient.
I never use stock or broth I always by bottled clam juice for the double recipe.
I have used both bacon or pancetta but I'm an RVMutant and I prefer using bacon.
I prefer the thicker New England clam chowder and the butter/flour combination they state for their roux just doesn't do it for me. Earlene has helped me there with the thickening process. Arrowroot, cornstarch, flour, all can be used for the thickening process. First time Earlene assisted me in the thickening she used Arrowroot and I'm thinking it worked the best. (Make a slurry first)
Scotch eggs! Hmm! There are grilled Scotch Eggs, fried Scotch Eggs, smoked Scotch Eggs, pellet grill Scotch Eggs, convection oven Scotch Eggs and on and on.
This is not the exact recipe that I used but it is the base where I started from:
<https://www.traegergrills.com/recipes/pork/smoked-scotch-eggs>
The lettuce I used was contained in the sausage by whatever animal at grass. That is as close to salad as I normally get when imbibing in food.
You can use any sausage you want. You can even get sausage links of your choice, such as Italian sausage, cut the casing off and use the meat. That opens up a lot of flavorful, spicy or not spicy, sausage.
Whatever lifts your skirt as far as what you want to add to the flavor of the sausage.
There are certain things that I will smoke on a grill and Scotch eggs was not one of them this time. I guess it would depend on the sausage I would use. For the Traeger I fired it up to 375˚, placed the Scotch eggs on it and after 15 minutes I flipped them over and cooked for another 15 minutes. I check the temperature of the sausage with a probe and needed another short period of time to get it up to 165˚
Let it cool for 5 or so minutes, cut in quarter (Picture was for presentation, Earlene's idea), and enjoy.
Had a couple left over and this morning I nuked one in the microwave. Still tasted good.
==========
Hey y'all! Y'all think only Earlene can cook. Thimk again! (I will say she is the gourmet cook though)

Earlene is reorganizing the spice cabinet.
She is warning me to stop messing with it.

I struggled with that until I figurd it out...you compose your message and as you go you upload the pictures you want. They are just attachments at the bottom initially but when you want to put words around them, you have to use the markup tools (at least in a full browser they are there):
You'll see each attachment you've uploaded so far in that drop-down menu and you choose the one you want and it'll put the internal name within [ ATTACH ] tags to place it into your text.
Then you just type around it. Once you reference it using the paper clip icon, it will no longer show up on the bottom, unless of course that's where you reference it from.

Just found this monster thread...read the first few and said to myself, guess I'm in the right spot (on this forum) trying to get to the right place (out of this S&B ball&chain and into an RV a lot more...maybe full time???). But DH and I are so blessed to have our rig and have the opportunities and abilities to enjoy it!!!

Hello "lfcjasp", and welcome! Nice to have you stop by. One question for you, is the journey your destination?

Has anyone else had your browser taken over by a ...what did you call it, Wayne? Oh yeah, a hijacker? It only infected IRV2 so far so I haven’t gotten around to fixing the problem. I'm just reading on the app for now.
It's beautiful here so I’ve been busy working outside. I finished the hoop shed and will get it organized as soon as I get the garden planted. Bev has been helping me outline a plot about 10’x3’. It's lined with heavy plastic and we're hauling sand from the wash and mixing it with steer manure compost. I still need 2 loads of sand and the last bag of compost before it's done. I planted onions and garlic in a concrete mixing tray last week and they're coming up! I have to surround the planters with a real flimsy chicken wire fence or Sena will pull up the plants. Ironically, if I made the fence sturdy she would climb it. She won’t climb shaky fence. PoP to come when I get it finished.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Deb and Dale stopped by last night to chat for a bit. They left cold Idaho for warm sunshine. Smart, huh? It was too dark for PoP, but we'll be getting together again soon.

Being Irene and I are sitting here in the Pacific Northwet and enjoying the scenery we decided to post some pictures of where we are located. Now that a computer professional (sorry Wayne) has explained to us that inserting pictures within the structure of the prose is a needed and must be used. The white sand beaches in the area are wonderful for exploring and just enjoying.The fun is wholeheartedly endorced by our little Mizzie. She is enjoying the sniffs (walks) she goes on immensely.
The really good news for us is that she has now getting beyond her health issues and enjoying food again.

Can you see the size of it next to my hand! Wow.
Alright! Thanks Carl.
