I'm planning to make an off leash dog park here in the desert. Lily needs room to run, but not run into trouble - like the deep wash where the coyotes are waiting.

I bought 300’ of wire fencing, a gate and 30 T-posts. As of now my plan is to make a 95’ diameter circle so that we can get the largest area out of the fencing.

Anyone have any great ideas for cheap ways to make it more fun for the pups?

Where are you Sam? That landscape looks familiar.

I can't get into eating beef tongue. Being of rural origin, I'll noticed too often what cows lick with their tongues (e.g. nasal drainage).

Well, this piece is one of my favourites of that genre, not least because of the performance of the bassist, Tal Wilkenfeld. Ooh, she is just an animal!

I'm rural too, & know it won't appeal to everyone, but here's the thing: We don't eat steak with the hide left on, or chicken with the feathers, either. [emoji15] Like other meats, tongue is served as only the muscle w/o its covering.

Are you all recovered by now, or still regaining strength? Pneumonia takes it out of you, doesn't it?

Cheers!

Queen Ann enjoying a rest stop on a short trip. I wanted to add more scenery to other great views here.

I've successfully rebounded from my pneumonia. Thanx to all who sent healing ohms.

We're 2 + weeks away from escaping to Florida. Leave the 24th. We're all set for family Christmas on the 22nd. Only one or two more gifts to pick up.

Since the rattlesnakes have gone into hibernation that will work. That is if the lizards are still awake. There are a few scrubby little bushes in the "park" where they might be living. I suspect Lily will be trying to dig them up.
