Oh well it's only money and you know I have lots! That's why I went back to w$;k.

Speaking of that, my high security with my government job has come under scrutiny and I'm getting new credentials today, different name new picture. May get to see new places in this world. Anyone speak Russian? I struggle already with English and Canuckestan!

Richard you and Ann have fun, your like my kids at college, costing me money but having fun!
Tim, The "Uber" ride is the modest charge that Chuck requested to ride in his Jeep with Sara.

I made sure we went to the closest place, right across the main road. So the charge was well worth it to ride with Sara!

Chuck knew you weaseled out of the bet, so he felt you would be glad to take care of the ride.

For those that go to Wayne's Family Diner, my review was: Food Excellent, I had fish. Staff Excellent. Décor Excellent diner car atmosphere. Location Excellent.

Just don't bother to name drop Wayne's name, it didn't get us a discount.

And don't drop Chuck & Sara's name for Five Flags RV reservation. I believe they tripled the rate!

Mighty expensive stop, but well worth it!

Uber charges, really.

You know there’s a town in Missouri named after Chuck. Tightwad, Mo. The biggest tourist attraction is getting your picture in front of the Tightwad Bank!

R U a Mutant

Good morning Mutsnts....
Just checking in. We are up really early so we can head North 3 hours and visit with DD and our Grandson Gabe. We have only 3 days of w**k left here at Amazon and we head North with the MH. Wish me luck in keeping it from becoming an icicle.

Hard to get a loan at the Tightwad Bank. It says "deposit only" right on the door. Out back it's all Mercedes, Lincolns, and Cadillacs......and one Rolls.

Jeff, I'm aghast that you want to add more hot air to your MH. Oh well!

With that said and out of the way, on impulse one day when Earlene dragged me to Bed Bath & Beyond I purchased a Power Air Fryer. I have only cooked in it a few times. As Earlene will attest to, I have also purchased a lot of "other" items, most recently a Traeger Grill, and an 8 qt Instant Pot Ultra.

Enough of that. The air fryer did what it was supposed to do. One of my peeves, like when doing Buffalo Wings is the small amount one can place on he pan. However, it took a short amount of time and a second batch was ready shortly after the first batch was consumed.

In retrospect, I didn't do much research. If I were to purchase something like that I would look at the (take out the spaces) https://www. youtube .com/watch?v= VQordGYSMNg (Spaces inserted to keep promotional video from displaying. Also you can search on "Nu Wave Oven" without the quotes.) It has a lot more featuers than "my" air fryer. I'd research that.)

Back in the Mid 80's, in my W*%(ing days I purchase a similar design to the Nu Wave without the bells and whistles. It was only "Convetion." About 45 minutes before lunch "we" (Couple of workers) would load it up with chicken, potatoes, vegetables and enough for 4, turn the timer on and walk away. 30 minutes later we had lunch.

My thoughts now are that a Nu Wave or Air Oven designed like Nu Wave would be more practical in an RV so give it some good research.

Please don't tell Earlene I said all this. She already thinks I spend foolishly. (Oh crap! She reads this thread!)

I bought a New Wave when they 1st came out, (air/infra-red design). It works as advertised and food is good. It is, (new ones are more steam lined shaped), rather heavy and a bit bulky with the big glass bowl etc.

LOL... I drive by that place every summer when I go to girl's camp... in all my years, I have never seen anyone in front of that bank taking pictures.

I think one scroll statement like this would cover a lot of ground:

“Pick on Wayne, Tim, Richard, Carl, and all Dennis folks incessantly and without pause or regret.”

I’m sure Barb may have a few ideas too
