Welcome Kytyn !! I feel certain you will do well with the second requirement:
Sue is correct -- "The journey is the destination."
My spouse is known as "Queen Ann" and I am her humble faithful "Coachman" Richard.
We live in AR & travel when we can. You will hear from Tim soon, the other Arkie. He has been duly nominated and elected as the Arkansas Welcome Coordinator for a lunch or supper as people wander by.
We live close to the I-30 & I-40 interstates, so a few grace us with a visit.
Hope we can meet soon

Welcome! I have had the pleasure of meeting Kytyn, and walking in the desert with her! A fine person, with a great guy at her side. Mini C soon, with a pop.

I was hoping you would meet up with Barb & Beverly while you were all out in the same desert at the same time. Good deal!
I'm looking forward to PoP (Pictures of Proof) of the forthcoming mini-c. Food, of course, us'ns bein' Mutants & all, will likely be involved.
Cheers!

Water buckets! Great idea Marty. I just got the floating row covers yesterday but it looks like I lost most of the pepper and tomato plants. This winter gardening is a whole new ballgame for me. Next year I'll put up a greenhouse first.
I have also met Kytyn and walked a few miles with her and Bev. Mutant for sure!

Thank you for the responses! Loved meeting those two ladies and our furry chaperones. I walked more than I usually do and the miles flew by as we talked. I am looking forward to meeting more of the Mutants!

I can only imagine the menu there:
Deep Fried Lizard
Boiled Cactus
Sage Brush Salad
& Yucca Tea to wash it all down with
