Campfire stories ... we all have em. Happy endings most of the time & we mutate onward.
We've spent wonderful time w/ mutants, visited my son in his new house north of Dallas, & enjoyed the varying countryside between Pensacola, Galveston, Johnson City, & northward.
The lilacs are just beginning & I found 2 pink tulips to cut for the house. It's a good time to be on this hill.
I hope y'all are safely where you want to be tonight.
Cheers!

There's a current song playing where the phrase "I'm more rednecker than you" is part of the verse

BTW, we are safe to travel at night again. The problem with the tail lights not coming on has been solved.

Dangy Dang! To much road trouble. Hate when that happens to anyone.
Back in 2007 had a 40ft fifth wheel. Going to Corpus had a 45 mph passenger side wind. Pulled the awning out and shredded it. Had to cut it off with a knife so we could proceed.
I'm thinking out loud here. Doesn't the topper awning have an anti-billow device? I could run outside and see if I have one but I have had my exercise for the day walking the River Walk, and then Miya this evening. We lost one on previous MH and Earlene could watch the awning billow out about 5 feet. When she wat that I'd slow down more and it would retract in. That was a long ride to the next stop and purchased a ant-billow locking arm.
Well the happy side for Sue and Martin is you are home safe. Thank you up Above.
Denis and Irene, Happy to hear the lights are working. Can't wait to find out how you fixed 'em.
Marty, again so sorry for your loss. We have also gone through a few of them and they really get to you for awhile. God bless.

Being redneck was never a phrase I'd use in describing of all people, Martin! But stuff does happen!

I'm waiting on Martin to say "Y'all" with a Southern accent.

Happy dance for your move-in & sleepover day! I'm so pleased for you.
Martin wondered about the generator from the LR house. Does that transfer or do you get a new one?
Party on! How about we all raise a glass together on Saturday in honor of the occasion? What say you, Muties?
Give us a time & we'll aim for that, eh?
Cheers!

Forgot to tell y'all (see? I can do it!) that the 2 potato vines that died a premature death left behind a small crop. When I say small, ... nevermind: the forum won't let me post PoP attachments now.
Oh, & one can put pretzel Peeps on a stick over a fire. Weird but tasty.

I have to get a "CO" where I live too, once my addition is finished. I don't think it's limited to Florida, but perhaps some states/counties/whatever have looser restrictions than others.
