Thanks for all the birthday wishes Y'all!

We are parked inside a metal barn at my brother Jim's place. We are protected from the heavy rains that have plagued North Texas this week. That means no cell service.

And the aroma reminds one of rainbows.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARB from both of us.

Tonight and one more in MO - 4 nights in Effingham Illinois - back to Indiana for a few months...
Passing through Champaign? Coffee or lunch? We're really close, w/in 20 miles.

4 nights here in Effingham IL, then a straight shot across I70 to Indy with a lunch stop in Terre Haute (back home againnn in Indiaaanaa...). Unfortunately, not that close to visit this trip. Ready to get home and see the DGKs.
Camp Lakewood is a real nice park. Spots are a little close, but lots of trees. Has a kind of state park feel to it. Great improvement compared to some of the parking lot RV parks we've stayed at. They even have a lounge (bar) building (we're not drinkers but some mutants would like it I'm sure).
My brother lives about an hour from here (at a crossroads in the middle of cornfields and nowhere) so he and his DW will come and visit while we're here. About the only time I get to see him any more.
Still no brake lights. Think it might be the switch on the pedal. Will hit a local Autozone or NAPA Monday for a replacement to see if that fixes it. If not, time to start tracing circuits with the voltmeter...

Mohms.....
still not legally in the house, flagged on one thing fixed it now, but no inspection until Monday,

generator broken on rv, waiting for part, electric cord fried after trying to run on the house,
So coach power draining fast.....
why..... why, why, why....

Larry went to get a new cord....
might be sleeping in the house illegally...

Worse case check into a motel for the night or two. Stay cool and Larry hooked up.

Turbohms and Mohoms for Dave & Carol, Larry & Di....home things get working quick.
Just missed several of you. Passed through Effingham and Champaign last weekend.
Been fighting a blasted cold, coughing my head off. After getting through the whole winter without a sniffle. On day 3 of my Z-pack antibiotics.

Tired, cut up, but we are sleeping in the new bed... at least the furniture delivery went good....

Your RV door locks without using the key? I need to check that...think I've actually locked the RV when we went somewhere once in the last 6 months...only because we had never been at this campground before...
