LOL...
it was on facebook... but here it is....

UPDATE

still not legally in the house, flagged on one thing fixed it now, but no inspection until Monday,

Ok 2 weeks ago Larry was pulling forward in the rv, and even though I told him I would unhook the power cord, he said, oh it willbe fine...... nope
He pulled the wires right out of the rv... bare wires....

so we ran the generator all day and night until the repair guy could get there, he said it needed parts and he could wire up temp either the coach or the generator....
That has been 2 weeks,,,

were doing find until they switched the temp elec pole into the house... it kept blowing the breaker....
So generator broken on rv, waiting for part, dealing with the one ac at a time has been a pain, but doable

electric cord fried after trying to run on the house,
So coach power draining fast.....
why..... why, why, why....

Larry went to get a new cord....
might be sleeping in the house illegally... but decided that was what we had to do....
on friday we got one more red flag on inspection, so cannot legally move in yet....

He got back with new cord, it still didnt work, so I turned around to do something outside, Oh it got worse. Shut the damn rv door and it locked.... all keys, even jeep keys, inside as well as medical equipment and the dogs... broke the window and crawled thru after 6 calls to locksmiths all went to voicemails.... got what we needed and went up to the house.

Tired, cut up, but we are sleeping in the new bed... at least the furniture delivery went good....

As we were getting into bed, larry said he tried the door one more time while i was in the house showering all of the safety glass off of myself.....

Lock is still jammed, so in order to get in again, i had to crawl in again.... this morning, sore from the first climb in and fall.....

Plus clean up. Plus salvage refig... plus just mive essentials up here.....

But ona happy note, I am so thankful it did not turn into a medical emergency, that we had a place to go.... and we love our home so very much....

How deep into Washington are you going, Jeff? I'm going to be about 20 miles north of Seattle beginning June 10 for at least 3 months. Any chance for a mini-C?

That is if I can ever get out of South Dakota. It's been raining steady here for over 30 hours. I'm about ready to find some pontoons to put under us.

Well Barb anything is possible, we haven't planned on what we will do once we cross the state line ...

Geez Di, it sounds like Murphy's law (if anything can go wrong, it will) has taken over. Ohmms for a smother, less troubled, rest of the week.

West of the Cascade mountains is the only part of Washington State that isn’t too hot in August. That or go to a higher elevation.

We are in the land of few cell signals so keeping up is sketchy at best. You might say we're riding the storm (s) out!
Waitin for a thaw out (heat is coming),
On lakeside camping in RV Mutant summer!

Sorry, I was channeling some REO Speedwagon there!

HEH We can relate - in NH on our way to a summer of touring the Canadian Maritimes

We are usually well connected (and Lurk the RVM group) but we will say that this is the WORST bandwidth we have ever had - lucky if we can get 2.8MBs!

Hey, it’s great to hear from you Bob!
We did a few treks up in the Maritimes. They were all wonderful, with PEI the best. I have an awful lust for Malpeque oysters and PEI potatoes.
Happy Trails, pics please!

R U an RV Mutant too?

On a dark night, the wires fry.
Yup. The transfer switch on Gwen died last evening. Within 16 hours, replaced.
Last night was friggin HOT! But it’s all good now.

Thanks Carl.
No fire. No smoke. A slow melt. Then the A/Cs quit.

Have fun up there Bob, we were there with Dave and all kinds of weird things happened. At St. John’s the river ran backwards and St. Andrews the ocean where we pulled up to disappear over night!
