Ah, Dave, now you know how it feels to be roped into setting up a GC.

With that said, where do you have in mind?

That’s sweet of you to want to include us, Richard, but it’s ok to GC without us. To be honest for the next year or two most of my time, energy and money is reserved for converting Connie into a tiny house. I'm itching to get down there, but we couldn’t accomplish anything in 100*+ weather. Today’s weather is forecast to be sunny with a high of 109*.

All y'all are welcome to join us down there. Just don’t forget your tools. Just kidding. Bob, the tool man, Caldwell has volunteered to help. Do you know anyone else who carries a table saw in their fifth wheel? He's not into boondocking so he'll park his rig in the RV park 2 miles from us.

Well we are off and running to my baby sisters funeral.
Ironwood MI
Bemidji MN
Devils Lake ND
Weyburn SK
and a few days in Saskatoon at the Campland RV Resort

We got off about 30 minutes behind schedule and then got held up in a lineup to get through customs entering the USA.

We will post tonight to let y'all know how far we did get.

We have made it to Seney National Wildlife Park, Tim would go nuts there are deer everywhere...

High of 109*??? What's wrong with that, I thought it was a "dry" heat LOL

I went to a convention in Las Vegas in August once. We stayed at Harrah's and just had to walk across the street to the Mirage. It was 110*. Even tho we were in the shade most of that time, I felt like I had walked into an oven. Dry heat is more comfortable than humid heat but anything above body temperature is WAY to hot for me.

How is the weather in April or May in that part of the country? (Reno, Carson City, Vegas)
We would want to make Yellostone and Yosemite and the GC all in one trip. Just need some dates and a place!

Carson City would be an interesting spot I'm sure ...

We are trying to keep up but the signal here is terrible.

5 more days and it's Jack's up , we will be heading for glacier national park.

Good luck at Glacier, when we were there, following the mooning, we camped at west gate. Well of course they had to close 1/2 of the park due to fires. From the west gate to summit. Well Shut!
So we traveled around to east gate to see the other side!

Now Barb you can't give me all the credit for that! It's this new app on my phone. It turns any conversation with Jeff into a PG version.

Looks like our travels this year will be taking us to the Gettysburg area. Much closer than Yosemite or Yellostone and equally on our list. Looking at going early ie April/May. Have to be back before Memorial Day, 5yo GD couldn't stop talking about going to the lake next year on Memorial Day weekend.

Anybody have ideas about travel or GC in that area during that time chime in.

Wayne it would be great for you to come narrate the battlefield tour, first hand experience is truly priceless.

This year! I think you missed the April/May time frame.

We have stayed at Artillery Ridge CG in Gettysburg. It is about 1/2 mile from the National Park Visitor Center and a great jumping off point for the "self" audio tour. Well worth the trip there. We have been to Gettysburg 4 times and I'd go back again. The history is amazing.

If you stay at Artillery Ridge they used to give a free pass to the Diorama. I strongly suggest doing the Diorama before touring the battlefields.

My experience for narration would only be because we have been there 4 times.
