There's a bucket list thing for me.

Yes it was!!

They are one seat technically...they took out the spare fuel tank behind the pilot and I sat in the remaining sheet metal.

You’d think that wouldn’t be comfortable but I was also wearing a parachute “just in case”.

I’ve got a bunch of pics from inside and the DW got some good video including the strafing run we did.

While they were explaining the use of the parachute and how to get out just in case, I told them that was on my bucket list too, but didn’t want to get both crossed off at the same time.

Highly recommended if you ever get the chance but be prepared for the sticker shock [emoji3]

That is why I wasn’t going to when I saw the cost...it was part of the state Harley rally that they had all the planes in and the ride option. When we got to the airfield to see them all (all WWII vintage) the P51 did the strafing run with another passenger. The DW saw the look on my face watching that and said “you are going to do it aren’t you”. I said “let’s go see if the credit card melts”.

You load sixteen tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store.

So Barb, how you going to spread that rock? The driver will have to be pretty good to feather it out while dumping and not leave mounds. Don't think I can tow my tractor 4 down or I might come and help. After deer season of course. oh and pics please!

Dont underestimate the females here...

last year I spread a truck load myself with a shovel and garden cart, and the driver did only one dump
I then moved about 100 concrete blocks... which I moved twice more, and we are getting more rock in a few weeks..... honestly I am stronger now then I think I gave ever been.....

Bill, are you about ready for some Mutants to come 'beta test' your RV park yet?

Barb, could that driver possibly 'lose' some of his load on that access road? Talk about a rough ride...shame there's not a road grader or a dozer sitting nearby somewhere that could be 'liberated' for a while...

Barb, here's a shot from the air of my little place, I'll add more pics soon.
Have a great day all.....oh, Di, after you moved all that gravel and block you'd be hard to beat in arm wrestling.[emoji3]

Hi Wayne, it's actually 17 sites for the "public", and one site for "Phantom Unit One", (mine). I'm looking at next spring. [emoji106]

Yeah, Bill, where is it? Looks like a great place (and the right size) for a GC in order to properly stress test...er, I mean inaugurate it...
