You can satellite view in real time? Google Earth always shows pics a year or two old. Is there another app or??
The "Corn Patch Corner" Campground is in North Central Iowa, near to Clear Lake & Mason City.
Merrideth Wilson is from Mason City (River City)......and Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper played their last show in Clear Lake.

OK...out of Indianapolis, that's I-74 past Sue & Martin on up to the Quad Cities, then I-80 past the World's Largest Truck Stop and on to Iowa City, I-380 to Waterloo and take state roads from there. Very doable for us. We could get the Texans and the Arkies, Carl likes to drive, who else? Bit of a run for Barb...
How close are you to "civilization"?

Oh, I'd go there in a flash. Not that far

Looking forwards to the end of month for the Florida trip. Not going anywhere all summer really is giving me the itch to drive and that's not going to be a very long haul

It would be fun to be the first crew to hold a GC (Rally) at a new facility. I think we could arrange to attend given enough advance notice.

R U an RV Mutant too?

Clear Lake Iowa?
I was there periodically to visit the computer manufacturing facility, and my system specialists came from there to the customer sites around the US to be my installation teams. It’s all gone now!
I’m game for a GC there!
Bill, do you think we would need to alert the local authorities?

Heck no. That would ruin all their surprises.

Nothing like a Mutant Arrival for surprising the locals. 1

We are just South of Pueblo for a while.
Here are more pics of our off-road exploring at Coaldale and Texas Creek.
The railroad ran from 1891 to 1967. The ruins is of a depot in Texas Creek.
And the mule deer didn’t care if we watched them all day!

Count us IN !!!

Queen Ann is EXCITED & volunteered to keep Tim & I under control, so may not need local law alerted...

I like the idea of a "Mutant Discount"...

About putting 2 parrots in one cage - I have a story about a preacher's parrot and a sailor's parrot but no way can I tell it on here...
Check the outlet. Mine acted similar and it was the outlet with the wires slid in the terminals. Changed it to an outlet with screws. Appears some of the outlets they use have the box built around outlet.

Well, Carl, if that's not going to be a long enough trip, you could always route your trip via Louisville KY or somewhere similar...

Bill you aren't going to plant any of those 'jumping' trees, are you?

OK, let's see. Iowa attractions near Bill:

1. Clear Lake: the Surf Ballroom and the Buddy Holly crash site.
2. Clarion: World's largest tractor (hey, it is farm country...).
3. West Bend: Grotto of the Redemption.
4. Mason City: Music Man Square and Rancho Deluxe Z art exhibit.

Yeah, some of these are a little 'tongue-in-cheek', no offense intended to anyone. Just poked around on the Roadside America site for a bit...

Deuce you might want to double check your septic system before the Mutants arrive. Some tend to spread a lot of c### when at these GCs.

Bill,
Are you going to provide a map for the Dutch Star owners to go to the Winnebago factory?
