Both of us have had both eyes done in the last couple of years . The wait time was minimal and our provincial plan covered it completely. It takes about 15 minutes and you have to take it easy for a day or two. Must be different on the Island!

I was told I am on some waiting list and it may be a year or two before I get the procedure.

I am going to train it to fetch a dish of food without guzzling it. That way I don't have to get up out of my chair.

Earlene had cataract surgery just a few months ago. As stated, about a 15 minute operation. Next day patch was removed and a patch was worn at night to keep from scratching. The patch is left off during the day. She said that (OMG) her eyesight improved.

I may need it done sometime in the future. I'm also tired of trying to stomp that little bug that keeps appearing when I glance sideways and the straight ahead. He shows up and disappears.

Uh, catalyst??

Those bugs are floaters, nothing to do with cataracts.... sorry, that is the vitreous fluid shrinking....

Fear not! The next time you come to Dateland I’ll meet you just north of the exit and lead you thru the abandoned airport. About 25% of that route is concrete and most of the rest is good gravel.the only time I take the frontage road is when it's raining heavily.

That is if we don’t get blown away tonight. I’m sure glad we’re parked on the north side of Connie. The winds are scary!

We’ve had a productive Turkey day. Neither Bob or I are much into holidays so we worked on Connie. I am so thankful for the gifts of his time, tools and talent that Bob has loaned me. His help with Connie is transforming my dream into reality. Oh yeah, I’m thankful for all the rest of you Muties, too. How else would I afford the non stop comedy show?

The progress that you and Bob are making is awesome!
Isn’t Bob actually RVM Saint Tool-Man-Bob?

Here in Tucson, we only ate WAY too much, and didn’t get the promised rain. But the wind is going to pick up tonight!

Happy Thanksgiving RVMs!
