You realize of course that them there would be fighting words if I wasn't such a pacifist.

Want to give a big thanks to Dave W. (DaveandCarol) for the mechanic info this past week. It was good to here from him and Carol.

FYI; It was the ICM (Ignition control module), once replaced and a little spray of ether it fired right up! For those unaware, the ICM is under the distributor cap and replaced the points and condenser.

It's good to have friends that know these things!

It's that look around her eyes I find amusing. Quite the character, she is!

You might just possibly regret the car ride idea! Better use yer truck & not ... repeat: not ... the family car! It could be a load of young bull.

That's your version of the rope ladder you pull up to keep "those other guys" from climbing up into your tree fort?

Bob and I made some great progress today. Bob installed a real, slam it all you like, screen door on Connie. I finished the clothesline. I was shocked by the prices of clothesline poles so I came up with a cheaper version. The PVC pipes were $10 each and the connectors I bought at the Habitat Restore for 50 cents to a dollar each. In Arizona the clothes you hang first are dry by the time you finish hanging the rest and they smell wonderful!

Before long we could start sleeping in Connie if we need to. The insulation is done, the plumbing will be done later in the week (I’m waiting on 50 pex clamps) and we have 800+ gallons of captured rainwater. Dennis has promised to help get the rest of the solar panels on the roof and Bob has everything wired.

If the Coronavirus hysteria continues in the Seattle area we won’t be going up there for the summer. We'll stay here until it gets too hot and then head to the forests near Flagstaff. At 6800’ it stays cooler. Plan B would be adding more solar panels, a 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter and a window air conditioner.

A week from tomorrow will be my last working day here for this season, gotta head for home........deciding on which route to take, avoiding Calif......heard there's diesel shortages around LA, and not sure if other pumps might be out also in the I-5 corridor.....usually take US 95 to the 395 into Susanville, Calif then onto Mt. Shasta and I-5...

Mary had the same advice! Pic is on the Google site. Hair not as curly now as it was before. He's still a gentle giant. For now!

Oh my! A car? No. There would be to much BS in the car. OLD BS and young BS combined would just be to much BS.
