I hope your AC is keeping you cooler than we are. It got up to 117* outside but the swamp cooler kept the bed area about 85* in Homer. Would you believe we napped all afternoon except when we had to take Homer down to Rose's place for one last tank of water?

I'm thinking that siding the carport to make it a "water room" might be a good idea. I bought some cloth canopy sides to put up there to shade the tanks but I doubt they'll last long. Maybe put hardware cloth along the bottom 6” and top above the tanks for ventilation?

So many projects, so little time, money and energy.

Siding is a snap if you prep for it. Putting in a 2 X 4 grid between the uprights at each corner at 16" spacing would be relatively easy. You, Irene and I could supervise Bob The Builder for this project.

All you gotta do is like me; win a big lottery and everything will just be so good. Lets hope the borders open up to enable us to get to visit you this winter. We are hoping for September oneth so we can get to see our friends in NY for their birthdays as their anniversary was in August and they were going to meet us at Shipsahoy and rent a cottage there. Darn Covid.

Leaving for Arizona from New York is now the new plan.

I just looked and the border is still closed to unessential travel. I can’t imagine what keeping snowbirds from coming down would do to the Arizona economy so I’m hoping that policies will change by September. If all else fails I’ll write you a letter stating that you’re coming here for employment which is allowed.

See you in October. Have you reserved a space at the Oasis?

But then I'll get into that green card mess like I had when I was a teen.

I will have to chance that issue. Pepper said she was mostly full for the late fall and full for the new year. We may have to go with the one we were at the first time which is 2 1/2 miles closer to you. All moot if the border stays closed.

Strange thing is we could fly down going by the existing rules. Weird weird weird, did I mention weird.

Good morning yerself Sir Lunch a Lot. Should be a really nice day today. Mizzie gets to see her Vet/Chiropractor today for another treatment for her back legs. Too say the woman is a marvel at what she does is a severe understatement. When Mizzie fell a week ago she couldn't walk properly and was mostly dragging her back legs behind her and exhibiting little control over her back feet and legs. After the treatment her walking improved immensely and the vet told us that it would keep improving with each treatment.

BTW I found out yesterday that a young bear that wanders close by this park has a personal express lane it uses to cross over Highway three to get up the mountain. At the south east corner of the campground there is a sizeable creek and a huge concrete culvert, large enough to carry all the water and one young bear across in safety. Down there scoping out spots to take pictures of the primitive tenting area that tenting types prefer and saw the little guy (maybe a two year old) wander by shuffling along following the creek and then walking into the water and through the culvert. I wish I had of had my DSLR with me because the pocket camera was too restrictive on what I could get.

Dennis and Irene, at least you are having some fun where you are. We are ensconced and because of the COVID 19 where we are experiencing 200+ cases a day.

Texas is suffering and the Governor will shut down the State if cases continue to rise.

If you don't wear a mask, why not?

Science behind how face masks prevent spread

Was doing some catch up reading last night and was concerned that a new condition was going wide spread. It appears pic on Tim was the primary symptom!
