Thanks Leroy! I have saved them to add to Sena's digital photo frame. That day will always hold a special place in my heart.

Drum roll, please. As of 45 minutes ago Connie's septic system black tank is operational. Ta Da! The toilet and kitchen sink empty into it.

The shower and bathroom sink waste water will go into a gray tank that will have a bilge pump in it. That's so the water can be used to water outdoor plants. Water in the desert is such a precious commodity that I couldn’t just throw the cleaner stuff away.

We'll now return you to your regularly scheduled shenanigans.

Barb, you will find with that grey water that you will have the greenest whatever you want around you.

When we were in Guantanamo Bay Cuba for 3 years a Construction Battalion worker had a 300+ gallon tank on the outside of his house (military quarters) and it was fed from all grey water sources, sinks, showers, laundry, etc. His yard sloped downward so he gravity fed it the grey water. He had the nicest, greenest lawn in the community.

Way-to-go handy gal!

My poor trees are suffering from the heat. I can now water them more, but wonder if I’m now overwatering. There’s a pretty steep learning curve when it comes to plants and critters down here. This old dog is struggling to learn what works and what doesn’t.

If only it would rain!

Leroy, if you want to talk we are just a phone call away.

Be assured we won't mind what time you call.
