Three weeks initially, then after the holidays, probably till May

No early retirement property, so still renting the space for 6 months at a time.

Speaking of little villages, got a phone call last night, a hunter decided to take his camper down to camp before the rain came today. Bet it was fun parking it in the dark amongst the trees. That makes 16 campers thus far. Will most likely top 22 by Modern Gun season. You think the GCs are fun, this last for months!

We're getting our 20 year old geothermal units & backup furnaces replaced & adding a humidifier. Since we aren't escaping this winter, it will be right handy to have all new, reliable equipment.

If the power goes out, we'll just trek out to the shed & move in to the RV w/ its generator. And its fake fire. And electric blanket. And pretend.

Cheers!
Sue, pack it up and head south. Campgrounds are more safe than most places. We can sit on the patio and chat. To darn cold where you are.

Well, we have managed to “cower and hide in motion” a looong way since leaving your lovely abode!

It was 49F this morning, 80 max today, a fine change from the 95-100+ in the last month.

Tucson will be perfect when we get there!

FYI, Nola has the HOTS for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Your fault

At least 1 per person! With that many guns we seldom have a fight! Each year we get more and more wife's and kids both camping and hunting. There's a lot more to deer camp than just hunting. I'll have three generations there again as will one of my BIL. The other BIL has his wife come down on regular basis. You think the stories around the campfires at GCs get wild, we have so many tall tale tellers that we have 3 large fire rings spread across the camping area. This year in addition to oldest Grand Son ill also have a 7yo Grand Daughter.

Tim, I wish more people passed on the family hunting traditions that we all once cherished.
