Stay safe and MERRY CHRISTMAS,
Well he didn't put up much of a fight and me taking it easy isn't the point ... lol ... But the ribs sure hurt , I try not to sneeze or cough unless I can press a pillow against my ribs to keep them from hurting, they will get better in time , but it sure feels good to have that venison in the freezer ... Yee Haa !!

So Jeff, tell me, if I send you a good funny joke, will it hurt when you laugh?

So today, Earlene is getting the Christmas items out from the closet and putting them on the bed. My caption of the pictures was:

"Oh oh! I got caught! But I want to help Mommy with the Christmas decorations."

Earlene said: “She was busted! I walked back into the room and said, “Drop it!” That’s the way she froze.”

She stayed in the frozen position with that look of, Oh oh, because Earlene called me and told me to bring the camera. It took me some time to get my phone and go into the room and she was still in that position.

At least she had a comfortable seat!

She should have had a sign around her neck for that picture saying, "Busted!" The thing about the whole episode that can't be shown in the picture is her "frozen" position and for at least 2 minutes. Enough time for Earlene to holler at me to bring a camera and when I got there she was still in that same position.

She's funny some times, but not when she is "counter surfing!"

Earlene would have to shoot and post the video as Wayne would be right in there with the pooch. Wayne needs his exercise to get his counter top offerings too.

Lily and Lexi would make a great pair of troublemakers. Lily’s things are chasing whatever will run (lizards, road runners, bunnies and even a coyote) and then trying to dig up the hole it escaped into.

When I was picking up the stuff from the demolished hoop shed she decided "this one" is NOT going to get away! She dug a 3’ long trench that was as deep as her legs, about 9”. When I asked her what she was doing, she looked up at me as if to say, "I’m gonna get this one" and quickly returned to digging.

After about 20 minutes she found something else to chase and left the trench for me to fill in. It amazes me how much energy she still has at 9.5 years old. In dogs years she's almost as old as I am!

We slept in Connie for the first time last night. I was expecting to make a great deal of fanfare out of our first night in our tiny house, but circumstances required a quick exit from Homer.

It’s been getting down in the 30s at night here. Running the heater is essential. Last night about 7:45 PM I noticed that it was getting rather chilly because the main tank had run out of propane. I pulled on a jacket and went outside to connect a propane bottle to the extend-a-stay.

I struggled to get the hose connected and when I turned it on volumes of propane came hissing out of the hose. So I grabbed some blankets and pillows and Lily and I headed to Connie. Thankfully, the new mattress arrived on Thursday and the bed was already made.

Lily was not keen on the idea of sleeping there. She kept going back-and-forth between the door and the bed. It was as if she was saying, "this is not our house, mom!“ She finally gave up about 3 AM and jumped up on the bed with me and went to sleep.

It’s nice to have options in your life!

So Connie is no longer virgin.

Happy for your ability to migrate back and forth.
