Merry Christmas to all of our mutant friends. Love ya all. Miss seeing ya.
We're in Florida. Got here October 30th. This will be the first Christmas we have not been with family members ever. Weird feelings to say the least. We're face-timing the kids and grandkids today.
We're eating at a nice restaurant today with some neighbors. The restaurant brags that they're open 365 days a years. Their menu offerings are tantalizing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with friends and family members that may be facing challenges during this time of year. Call us if you have a need to talk to someone who cares. Love ya all.

Ok, this is going too far! Everyone should demand a recount! It apparent that there is a drastic error been made. Living with this misplaced justice will drastically change my life as I know it.
It appears I have landed on the naughty list!
Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas all you crazy Mutants! Let’s hope Santa has brought us some freedom from this stupid virus. I miss y’all!
I heard Santa in the middle of the night. Sounded just like rain on the top of the RV. I'm hoping he brought me a measurable amount to help fill my water tanks.

Tim, I suspect this is not your first time on the naughty list. I’ll have to ask Mary next time I see y’all.

Attention Barb!
Ok I’ll listen to any of you on this matter but I especially want to hear what Barb has to say
!
Problem; I have a small camper with gas/Ele. Fridge that I use at deer camp. Usually I have generator running for several hours each day which keeps my single 12v battery fully charged and fridge runs off propane when I’m out hunting and generator is off. On occasion I go back home for a day or two and have found that my battery will keep the fridge running for a little over two days until it pulls the battery to low to keep it lit. In addition to the fridge there is also some parasitic drawn from stereo and co2 monitor.
I was thinking of placing a portable solar panel near the camper and connected to the 12v battery to keep it charged on those days when I’m gone back home.
Question; How do I know what size I need and what I need to get. Not wanting to spend a lot on this as it’s more for convenience than necessity.

Quiet Christmas this year with no activities at the RV park thanks to covid. Texted back and forth with my daughter and my brother, Carol phoned several relatives. Pot roast in the crock pot for dinner with mashed potatoes and corn.

Hi, my husband and I met Steve Flagg about 4 years ago on a trip to Iowa. We were still new to RV’ing but I clearly remember listening to Steve, wondering what a RV Mutant was. Thanks to him I found this website where I’ve mostly been lurking off and on. We’re starting to prep to do some serious cross country RV travel and thus I’m back on the site, looking for ideas, suggestions and wisdom.
Looks like this thread is alive and well. Good luck to Steve and Annie!!
