I have read from numerous sources that the border is about to open.
None of the sources have any official connections.
Our Prime Minister is commissioning a company to develop a vaccine passport that he expects to be usable mid September, so I would take that as being the most likely date for opening.
I still wonder at how a vaccine passport would work being it infringes on the "Canadian Rights and Freedoms" laws.

As bad as it’s getting down here you might want to stay up North!

So RV Mutants Dave and Sherry are next to us.

Hey, Shipwreckers!
A message from FB from Charlene Therien:
Hey guys, is there any way that someone could do some live stream of events at the Shipwreck? For those of us who can't make it but would like to be there in more than just spirit.
Carl, can you do this?

Charlene, a livestream was accomplished at the GC in MI a few years ago. Don't know how it was done, but surely it's possible ... w/ Zoom, maybe? C'mon, someone techier than me!
Wish we could see you in person. We still have an Asian market crawl to do!
Speaking of which, who's up for making sushi? Wayne has the equipment & experience, I've got mat & nori in the cupboard but very little experience. Is anyone else interested? We could even bastardize the project by using thin strips of cooked beef for those who don't like raw fish. Why not?!
Cheers!

I can offer the wifi itself, not a problem for me as it's unlimited. It's on the AT&T network, easily moved around to wherever.

I may be able to offer a Zoom meeting, & that is 2-way. Viewers need access & I'm not sure yet how to do that. I think it would (have to!) be free.
Dave Steen, can you remember what y'all cooked up for the MI gig? You & Wayne? Carl's wifi, prob?
